I do feel like midcarders are getting more time lately. Not every match is a great one, but I am seeing some that are. The Cesaro v Bateman match on Saturday Morning Slam was actually quite good. I really hope that was akin to a gray match and they are working on bringing Bateman and his Mr. USA schtick in to take that belt off of Cesaro.

I enjoy seeing Gabriel and Kidd more, even Barrett. In the last few weeks we have seen Dibiase, McGillicutty, and a few others that have been in the back for far far too long (or injured in DiBiase's case). I can only hope that this means we will see more and more of them, less of Big Show. I like a good story sure, but I also am not going to complain if I just get a storyless but extremely well wrestled match from time to time, just to get some familiarization going on some of these people.

I also would love to see Dean Ambrose show up. Sara Del Rey is training NXT Divas which can only mean great things for them. The sooner we see a polished Paige come up the better. Then we have Kassius Ohno, Seth Rollins, Richie Steamboat... but they have no place to go, no spot to really fill right now in WWE. Watching some good old school 'you pissed me off backstage, we are going to wrestle the fuck out of this ring next week and settle this' stuff on NXT/FCW is great! But it is developmental. It isn't definitely going anywhere, but it is nice to watch some good to great wrestling without all the bullshit.

In short: Dean Ambrose. Let's fucking go already.

Oh and in other news, the Attitude Era mode in WWE '13 is goddamned amazing. Chills. Really brings that all back, and while I remember how much I miss that everytime I sit down and watch a ridiculous Seamoose make screaming "Fella!" seem ominous, this really hammers that nostalgia home.

Bateman would disagree with you on that Graelin as his knee cap got broken by Cesaro's finisher and had surgery monday lol.

    FUCK.

How did I miss that?! Goddamn it... I haven't been that entertained by slapstick wrestling in some time. The criss-cross rope running that lasted forever was awesome. Now my day is ruined. Thanks Melena. WTF, I assumed that Mr. USA was invincible.

This. The issue isn't even just the focus because even the main focus characters have boring feuds. I don't go "behind the scenes" or read twitters and even I don't see many "surprises" going on. There really need to be an emphasis with respect to that rather than "rawr! I hate you; lets go battle this out." Less reruns would help too. The time used to show reruns should be mic time for the fighters to pick at each other.

Oh god this. I don't know if it is just a quick solution to fill in the gaps in that 3 hour slot or what, but good lord there is just too much. I get why there are short recaps on other shows like NXT or Smackdown. I even get why they use some on RAW of things that happened on RAW. They are refreshers, but... they are getting more frequent, more pointless, and just boring as shit. They also seem to mean more jobber entrances. Hell there was a double jobber entrance on one of the recent RAWs. NO ENTRANCE FOR ANYONE!

Oh, and then there was poor JTG who came down to... Ryback's music? He looked kinda pissed at that. Maybe it was a mistake, maybe it was a super jobber entrance. NO MUSIC FOR YOU! YOU WILL GET RYBOTCH'S ENTRANCE THEME AND NOW GO GET SQUASHED.

Sad. Losing me Vince. Losing me. (Again)

EDIT: Also, so... yeah, later Beth. Finally. I guess. No for real this time.

Because personally Ryback going apeshit on a bunch of people sounds awesome to me. Show/Sheamus had a great match last PPV so I'm excited they might again. Cena/Ziggler had one of the best TV matches a couple years back and I'm excited to see what they can do. As for the rest of the card, why even bother calling it shitty already when nothings even been announced yet.
This has absolutely nothing to do with WRESTLING. I do enjoy the matches, for the most part. From a technical aspect, it's all fine. The problem is that there are no stories invested into these feuds and so they're boring from THAT aspect, not from the aspect of the actual work in the ring. Big difference.

Ryback has been treated so slowly and for months people were crying that they finally move him up to mid-level talent, yet he was still getting 30 second squash matches. When they finally move him forward, they have him fight Tensai (who hasn't done shit since he got back) for a week and then toss him into the title picture? Really?
While guys like Dolph and Rhodes SCREAM main-eventers, Ryback gets a push and completely destroys the MAIN EVENT of a HIAC PPV due to his poor technical abilities and ridiculous botches.

Why do I still watch it? Because it's still entertaining, and because I enjoy the wrestling. Otherwise it would be silly to watch a product I hate, don't you think? I don't seem to understand your hate towards me just because I have an opinion that's different than yours. That's the point of these forums. If everyone agreed on everything, there would be no discussions. Ever.
So if you enjoy watching Ryback squash everything in his path and make every match of his clearly decided before the bell even rings, go for it. What I want to see are matches that leave me in suspense. Like Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker in a ladder match on RAW for the title a little over a decade ago... Back when storytelling actually MEANT something, along with the wrestling. Today they give us Kofi vs. Miz twice in one week, and then AGAIN on a PPV the following week. And every time it looks the same, it appears like the fans are not interested (and for good reasons, the feud is terrible), and the outcome is as clear as day.

WWE needs to start realizing that their roster doesn't revolve around 4 guys and start spreading the love around some more. Hell, go watch the CM Punk documentary and you'll see what he says about all this shit. It's absolutely ridiculous that it took them 6 years to capitalize on Punk, yet they push Ryback to the sky in what seems like a few short months.

I assume you meant "watched TNA"? About that, I watched it last night as well. While the technical skills of the majority of those guys is completely in the shitter, the PROGRAM itself is miles ahead of WWE imho. Take last night's show. It's what's referred to as "Open Fight Night" where ANYONE can come out and challenge ANYONE and they MUST fight. To me, that's pretty damn cool. Also last night, they had one of their "Gut Check" matches where someone fighting for a contract gets one match to prove themselves. It's different and entertaining to me.

I had mentioned previously about their tournament style competition leading up to their PPV "Bound For Glory" to decide who exactly gets to fight for the WHC. Another creative way instead of "Hey Alberto/Sheamus/Cena/??? you get the next 1798379 title shots".

they have continued for months now with this Aces & 8's thing about a biker gang all masked trying to take over the program. I don't watch it enough to understand the backstory and the ins and outs, but again, it's DIFFERENT. Last night, Bully(Bubba) Ray called out Devon to fight as Devon is with the gang and they all have cost Bully the title a few times. Devon called the gang in and tried to take Bully out, but the "superstars" came to Bully's aid (even though he's a heel) and they all fight together because they want the gang out. I guess Hulk's lawyer came out pretending to fight and pulled off one of the masked men's mask to expose who he is.

Lastly, and while this isn't mind blowing by any means, it's still DIFFERENT. Matt Morgan went to Hulk's grand opening of his surf shop in Clearwater, Fl and stole his cape he wore when he faced Andre the Giant at Shea Stadium. He's been wearing it around and blowing steam claiming he will show why he's entitled to wear the cape and how he'll dismantle the roster.

Make no mistake, technically these guys are terrible. But the concepts are somewhat fresh, entertaining, and aren't 100% predictable unlike what we get with WWE currently.

Ziggler doesn't need a push from Cena. Ziggler is so over and has been over for so long it's sick. I could see Dolph losing and disowning Vickie, which would be awesome.

As much as I love 3MB (Heath Slater mainly), they don't need PPV time, maybe YouTube PPV time and fight Ryder/Santino or some other goof troop group.

DBry and Kane saved the Tag Team division but they need to split up. DBry needs to go after Punk for the belt again. Please let him win the Royal Rumble.

Rey Mystereo and Sin Cara just need to feud now, enough of this tag team crap. (Thinking about it they'll probably feud after Royal Rumble)

Pretty sure Survivor Series will have Ryback fighting Punk again...Well I hope so, I could see Punk doing double duty as most of the other wrestlers will be doing the same in that match too.

The reason for Cara/Rey teaming is so Rey can help teach him the WWE style of wrestling. If you look at Cara's luchador career the guy is amazing, but it doesn't fit with the WWE which is partly why you see so many botches from him. That and the mask with the lighting effects in the ring I have no idea how that fucker can see anything.

If you don't like the stuff that's been announced so far, thats cool, but your post went on to just label all other potential matches boring before anything has even been one for them. That to me is silly.

This and also the fact that WWE plans to have a Rey vs. Cara WM 29 match because they want to try and set some sort of record for masks being worn at a show or some nonsense like that.

General WWE Discussion (Brock lesnar new generation he impress me always)

TNA story-line refreshing and new? It's the same "take over the program stable" they've been regurgitating in various forms for years lol. Hogan also has no idea how to put over new talent without dipping his balls into the scenario and the wrestling is borderline sad to watch at times.

Yea, this really isn't any different than the S.E.X. faction taking over many years ago when Russo first joined TNA. TNA's biggest issue has been the Bookers. between Hogan, Russo, and "Dirty" Dutch Mantel they have managed to cause more havoc then anything WWE could dream. Talking WCW level of retardery. I remember when they were first starting out in Nashville and Raven was going for the title as it was his destiny, and the crowd was completely eating it up and even then they still had Double J keep the title, immediately pissing off the entire fan base and nearly bankrupting the company till Panda Energy bought in as an investor. If you can find that match online I recommend watching it. Especially so you can see how badly the crowd goes ape shit over Jarret keeping the title.

Actually TNA actually put it on youtube amazingly enough. You can see some garbage tossed in at the end before it cuts away, but this is wrestling 101 on how to ruin an incredible match with bullshit run ins and an even worse ending.

Some of them stepped up the game tonight imo. PTP, Otunga, and the backstage fight weren't that bad.

It's true that Aces N' Eights is TNA's fourth (i think) NWO style invasion angle, but I would rather take that over seeing John Cena main event every single PPV from now until the end of time.

Ever since WCW and ECW went under, wrestling in NA has gone through such a down period. I guess its "pick your poison" as to what you wanna watch.

Personally, I prefer TNA and ROH over WWE. I only watch Raw now and then and only for a few minutes at a time.

To me, the best thing WWE has going is NXT/FCW. I think someone mentioned that before.

It's hard to believe that this is the developmental brand. When you compare it to the main WWE brand, the two are miles apart. I love Tyler Black and Chris Hero.
