Rock is scheduled for the elimination chamber, so either Rock wins and Punk gets it back later or Punk wins by a screwjob setting up the elimination chamber.

That is what my friend and I were fearing as well Exo. The end was great, even if it was old vs new. Rock's same old cheap pops and complimenting the dude only to say the same shit right back at him, etc. If Rock loses to Punk, my respect will skyrocket. I think the match is going to be badass either way, but Punk retaining at the end, clean, would be awesome.

I'm expecting a drop to Rock at Rumble, he retains at Chamber and drops it to Cena at Mania. They don't need the belt on Rock to draw the numbers, but they'll put it on him anyway. Probably an angle with The Shield thrown in there, but I'd say they're almost definitely going to put the belt on Rock until Mania.

Assuming they're keeping Dolph's money in the bank on the WWE title(and making the case super irrelevant at the same time), I'd guess it's to set up another Orton vs Del Rio feud. Orton wins the Rumble and picks the world title for his Mania match. Having Dolph cash in on the world title would be too logical.

Haven't watched wrestling barely at all in a few years, though my friends do and keep my somewhat abreast. Anyway, I liked CM Punk from his ROH and "ECW" days and they just added his WWE biography to Netflix. It is really well done. Would suggest checking it out.

The only guess for the switch here is to benefit Dolph otherwise the sudden change makes no sense at all. Still a question as to when anything goes down though especially with the rumble coming up. I have no clue who they have win it this year and hoping they don't go the obvious route of Cena taking it again to challenge Rock/Punk at mania. Actually wouldn't mind seeing Dolph win the thing also and go into WM challenging for one of the titles and having the briefcase for the WHC as insurance.

You're right, I got them mixed up. Then it is likely to give Ziggler an easy out for the title. Assumed his was for the WWE title since he's been such a focal point on Raw lately and the World Heavyweight Championship has been more Smackdown.

The point though is that the RR is in 3 weeks, why was so important to do it now? If they really wanted the title to move on to a babyface they could've done it then.
