It feels like hotshot booking, but I have no idea what their mindset is.

WWE signed El Generico. He's a great wrestler who I've seen live many times.

Suddenly SMACKDOWN! becomes watchable.
Oh God. Yes. YES! Sandow shit-talking the Rock. What a fucking promo. Gotta watch now.
TNA is now only doing 4 PPVs a year. So much for competing with WWE.
Not entirely accurate. They are only doing 4 live PPV's a year. They are still doing an additional 7 pre-taped PPV's. What the possible reasoning is behind that I have no clue unless they are just starting to get cheap and want to save money on the production end of PPV's.
Separate note the NXT tapings are tonight and they are officially crowning the first NXT tag team champions. Not sure who the teams are yet but McGillicutty/Bo Dallas, Ohno/Kruger, Wyatt Family, Yoshi/Percy are four likely teams to be involved if it's a tournament format. Sadly no more Ascension right now as Kenneth Cameron got himself fired a couple months ago for assaulting a police officer in one of his drunken stupors.
I believe the taped shows are only for its international broadcasters. You won't see them in North America I think.
Yes, they are doing them exactly to cut costs.
TNA has never been at the level to compete with WWE. The monday night thing they started fizzled out as quickly as it started.
Aces and Eights is the greatest staple in modern wrestling history.
I find Aces and Eights extremely boring at this point. I thought it started off pretty good but then 6 months down the line nothing really changed with them. Every impact was the same. Open with Aces and Eights brawl and close with an Aces and Eights brawl. Never getting any closer to who the actual members were. Finally at Bound for Glory I thought it started to get interesting again when they unmasked Devon but within like 2 weeks it was back to the exact same thing again. IMO they have just dragged it on way too long with no real breakthroughs in the storyline. I haven't watched in the past couple weeks though so I'm out of the loops for the recent couple shows.
Nah I was just being sarcastic. That staple is garbage with a bunch of people no one gives a shit about.
Agreed they dragged this whole thing out way to long already and when they do bother to reveal members they just end up being Luke Gallows and Mike Knox so far. Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff still to come. Oh and can't forget about the ultimate reveal of D'Lo Brown.
i watched TNA a lil bit last night. I thought Roode and Aries arguing before their match was kinda funny. inter-gender(sp?) match was stupid. When Joseph Park (Abyss) called out Hogan, man did Hogan ever look tired and as if he'd rather be ANYWHERE else but there. I've never been a Hogan fan, but I'm not a hater either. I just wish he'd step aside.
I think TNA has some good talent, but the show is just stale and no creative directions.
