Sadly, Hogan while not in as bad straits as Flair is, won't ever be able to afford to quit. His ex wife pretty much did an atomic leg drop on his finances. Think he lost something like 20 mil in money/property from that divorce.

He's playing dumb on it but I think everyone was pretty certain he'd go in this year with it being in MSG. Some sites are reporting some people will be getting released today as well.

EDIT: Trent Baretta is apparently the first to go. Shame as he's a good talent that if they ever did go through with the rumored cruiserweight division would have been a great fit. Still expect JTG, Mason Ryan, and Ezekiel Jackson to be let go before long. Personally hoping Hornswoggle and Khali could be added to the list but probably not.

To expand upon my earlier comment, I wish he would step aside as far as tv time and let the actual talent do their thing. Although this may be a creative writing issue and not a Hogan issue. Who's to say. It's too bad his divorce ended like that.

If he gave his wife 20mil, shouldnt he have a few mil left himself? At his age he wont need more than 2-3 mil to live a regular life.

She owns 40% of his "companies". Most private contractors form companies to pay themselves to avoid some tax laws and protect themselves legally. So she essentially gets 40% of his gimmick forever.
