General WWE Discussion: Roman Weeps, Taker Retires, MNK/SAM/RDM LFP

Almost positive we're going to be seeing a Punk/Taker feud here after the Rumble to set up 21-0 and his one wrestling appearance for the year. I love Taker, but man, they need to just let the guy retire; I'm also really hoping they don't kill the streak. Not that it's really more valuable at 21-0 than 20-1, but probably worth more than the heat Punk would get for breaking it.

So going into Mania season the 3 big feuds we'll be seeing are HHH/Lesnar again, Rock/Cena again, and Taker/Punk.

They need to push the ever living fuck out of Cesaro too, best guy on their roster right now.

Still don't see why Rock has to suck CM Punks dick everytime he cuts a promo on him. "I know you're bad, you're dangerous, blah blah". The hell is this garbage. It'd be a cold day in hell if he ever hyped up his opponent back in the day.

2005: eliminated second to last, by batista (but still wound up challenging JBL for the title at wrestlemania)
2006: Defeated edge for title, no rumble
2007: last man standing vs umaga, no rumble
2008: won
2009: was champion at the time, no rumble
2010: eliminated last, by edge (then cena won title at elimination chamber, then lost it to batista on raw, then wrestled batista for championship at wrestlemania)
2011: got eliminated late by the miz (who was champion at the time and interfered), but still wound up main eventing wrestlemania (against said champion)
2012: match with kane, no rumble

so in the past 8 years, he's been in 4 rumbles:
1 he won, 1 he got screwed by the champ interfering (but wrestled said champ at wrestlemania regardless), and the other two he lost by being the final elimination, but STILL went to challenge for a title at wrestlemania. So, he doesnt even HAVE to win to challenge for a belt at wrestlemania!

Helps to check facts before you make comments like that dude.

My comment said that he doesn't win every year. Your facts prove my point. I was simply saying "him being supercena" in no way is proof that hes gonna win the rumble this year. Thanks for backing that up.

He will win it if the planned WWE storyline dictates it. Being super cena has nothing to do with it. All that guarantees is that he has a strong performance.

aaaaaaaand 4 of those 8 years, he wasnt even in the rumble. Considering the rumble is supposed to mean "you get to challenge for the title belt at wrestlemania", and even the 3 times he didnt win, he STILL went to challenge for the belt at wrestlemania, I'd classify that as the same as winning the rumble, for all intents and purposes.

It might've eluded you that there are 2 world heavyweight titles in the WWE and that Cena IS the WWE's golden boy. Of course hes going to be involved in the big title matches at WWE's biggest PPV. That doesn't mean "he won the rumble even when he didn't."

You keep harping about those 4 years. I didn't say anything about not being in the rumble counting as a loss. I simply said being supercena doesn't guarantee that hes gonna win the rumble.

Apparently, Santino's daughter just won Miss Teen Ontario 2013 and is now trying to become Miss Teen Canada.

The "By The Numbers" Royal Rumble promo the last couple of years have been pretty damn cool. Although this year's music selection sucks.

They just announced a new tournament for this weekend also using NXT guys for a spot in the royal rumble. Leo Kruger, Xavier Woods, Conor O'Brian, Corey Graves, Oliver Grey, Bo Dallas, Luke Harper, and Adrian Neville are the entrants.
