You could work retail, the hardest shifts to fill are saturday and sunday. Most will let you work up to 10 hours, so you could at least meet part-time requirements

I guarantee you would get work as a secuirty guard especially if you are weekends only

in Ontario security guards are licensed, so that might be an obstacle for you if NY is that same, but the licensing here is not difficult to get, can do the test course in a week I think

turnover rates in security is high cuz it's not for everyone, but this means they're always hiring. Sometimes the shifts are long, so you might work 2 12 hour shifts every weekend, but that's a pretty efficient use of your time if those are the only days you can work. Plus many of the jobs are desk-jockey concierge style, so you can study

You do need a license to be a security guard, but of the people I know who did it as a job, I would say the test doesn't require more than a mild glance over while studying to pass.
