Radio news on the way home from work had analysts speculating that the investigation was into whether or not Dunn was looting the company for personal gain.

Would make him the same as most of the middle managers I worked with.
List of closing stores is up! Liquidation starts today.
Usual warnings about liquidations apply (they sell broken shit on a no-returns policy), always double-check amazon/ebay before making an impulse buy, and remember that the %savings from MSRP is always a lie.
Edit: You have until May 12th
We expect most of these stores will permanently close by May 12. Three additional locations are expected to permanently close later this summer. 2
Can't believe the Deerfield one is closing. That one is relatively new. I lived 2 streets down from that swamp they turned into a shopping center.
Boo the one near me is not closing
I am so mad at myself... I can't get the employee news at Best Buy to send to my email so I can post what Best Buy sent its employees regarding Dunn and the whole closing... tensions are pretty high now at my Best Buy at least, makes my jokes about Dunn even funnier.
Hmmm, Westwood one is closing. There's going to be dick for reasonably priced electronics retail on the west side of LA now.
That Fry's is fucking awful. I'd sooner drive to Burbank or Industry.
Yeah, dunno if it's changed since I stopped in years ago, but dark and dingy tiki warehouse is not exactly confidence inspiring.
Dammit only 2 stores in TX are in Austin or San Antonio. I'm not driving 4-6 hours for that. I'll bet DFW shows up in round #2.
I used to shop at the El Segundo Fry's all the time when I lived in Santa Monica, Venice, and then Inglewood. I suppose my hatred for Best Buy just ran that strong.
That, and I would usually go at times when it wasn't fucking packed. Parking in the lower area near the bridge's underside helped matters, too.
The West LA (Pico) and Culver City (Overland) stores aren't that far from the Westwood location. Closest to Echo Park is probably West Hollywood, but I just go to the Atwater Village one since I basically live on the 110 in downtown, and fuck the 101.Originally Posted by archibaldcrane
Here's the list of Best Buy's closing. Two of them (manteca and east palo alto) are both within an hour of me. At least the Dublin one is staying open.
