Well it was fun while it lasted, gonna throw on some Netflix and head to bed. I don't feel like staying up from Astro Boy lol. I really do hope they bring Tom back in some shape or form even if it isn't Toonami. I honestly think its Tom's personality that people are attracted to, and maybe the sci-fi aesthetics.

I'm glad they brought back G2 (or G3?) Tom instead of the cartoony abomination they had before Toonami ended.

EDIT: Was G3 Tom. Only difference between G1 and G2 seems to be a reskin.

Enjoyed the night if only because it wasn't quite them running the same reruns into the ground. As is, alongside airing new Bleach, they need to pick up something else fresh (even if it's just shorter series or OVAs). Wouldn't mind them doing 2 episodes of FMA:B a week to cycle through more quickly. And while I'm a GitS fan, it's time to cycle it, Big O, and the abomination that is FLCL. I'd even say Bebop has been run too long, too.

G1 Tom had a beer belly. G2 Tom is G3 without the robotic steroids.

For me, the best part of toonami was their special event episodes when Tom had to fight off a virus and protect his ship. I watched through shows I didn't bother watching before just so I could make sure I followed the plot.

I call 100% BS on Toonami coming back though. The Mass Effect review really wants me to think otherwise, but it's April 1st.

What a mean April Fool's gag. I'd take Toonami over the normal shit Adult Swim puts on any day of the week. I remember not liking Trigun at all when a friend had me watch the first few episodes. Then I caught it again on Toonami and it was like an entirely different show. I was hooked.
