SLJ has already been said to be part of the filming for Avengers 2 so whether they actually "killed" him or not in Cap 2 probably won't matter much in the long run.

just got out of cinema in london. Four things cinema are dam near flat and everyone is looking up. Miss my USA theaters. Two, Loved the movie the chemistry with BW and Cap. Three if you guys don't already know stay until the very end. I am curious how this will tie into AoS, because a lot of suspect s..t is going on in AoS as well. Four it has been out a week here and still a decent amount of people in cinema here.

They used a goddamn Hickman storyline for part of this, every nerd bone in my body was in overload.

Edit to above : storyline is unrelated to Thor 2, the only "required" viewing is Cap 1 and Avengers.

Just got back from seeing it, it's terrific! Absolutely loved it. Great action, the story was very solid. ScarJo really was great in the movie, as was everyone else, but I think she really brought BW out of the sub character spot. No spoilers as of yet but as with all marvel movies keep your eyes open and make sure to read things that are shown, there a few masterstroke call backs/references by the writers in the movie.

Dr. Strange even got himself a name drop from Sitwell who I was quite shocked to find out was a member of Hydra along with the douchebag senator from Iron Man 2. The Fury bit played out pretty much like most of us expected I would think. Guessing Cap 3 will focus primarily on his hunt for Bucky with Rumlow probably coming back since he was pulled out of the Triskellion wreckage at the end. Lots of AI running around this one too it seemed. Going to go out on a limb and say some of this will play into Age of Ultron. That said what was the second post-credit scene? Only saw the one we all knew about already with Strucker, SW, and QS.

Anyone that's a fan will enjoy this for sure. I liked Captain America 1 a lot and they still managed to improve on it. Fantastic movie.

Last scene after credits was Bucky visiting the museum Cap was in earlier and finding his picture and profile amongst the Howling Commandoes exhibit looking confused.

Let this movie show that soundtrack titles can be very misleading no matter how metaphorical they are. I was expecting Pierce to stand back up after Fury shot him and take his face off.

Also there where a bunch of Audible Sqeees in my theater when Zola's face showed up on the monitor.

As much as I love the universe these movies are taking place in, one thing that's bugged me since Avengers is how isolated these movies feel. I get that they're trying to focus on a single character, and having BW involved did help, but you'd think Fury would call Stark or Thor when they needed to take out the helicarriers. Extra firepower wouldn't have hurt then.. It's a minor thing really, but it's definitely something that I want them to do a better job of addressing as these movies go on (although I'm doubtful they will..).
