Question on a scene in the movie

During the Helicarrier targeting scene there, did anyone get a good read on the list of names? I am kind of excited to see a list of that when someone gets a video of the movie and picks it apart. What mutants or people with powers were targeted. Will be awesome with references.

And christ yes, the strange mention had me giddy when they said it.

I took a face plant into this movie, tons of quality with a lot of references.

Had to keep poking the girl I was with like "oh shit, thats that dude and that's cause this!"

I caught the the 9pm but the line for the midnight was wild, hella Cap costumes and whatnot. Would've rather waited for that cause I'm right at home in a rowdy theater but none the less...

I thought it was Loki's Staff, the one with the Mind Infinity Gem. Thor took the Cube back, and then in Thor 2 they gave the Aether to the collector, so the staff was unaccounted for until now right?

I liked the movie. Though as a film, it did have convenient plot moments:

Really enjoyed the flick after seeing it tonight. A lot of hype (mostly from this thread lol) and I felt it lived up to it. The action was fantastic

The part right after Fury "died" and Capt was leaving the Shield headquarters, everything from the elevator ride to him taking down the heli-jet solo was just badass.

Elevator sequence was one of the best parts of the entire movie for me. That shield flip is so fucking hardcore it hurts.

So, I saw an little blurb from one of the marvel studios guys(think it was in the avengers thread) talking about how they don't believe "super hero" is a genre and that this was meant to be a political thriller, and to that end I think they definitely accomplished what they set-out to do. If you took out or toned down the more fantastical elements, the plot could easily be a bourne or jack ryan movie, which is not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned.

Aside from that, loved all the references, especially the pulp fiction one mentioned previously and the Dr. Strange shout-out. Also, the little appearance by Danny Pudi although I wanted him to say how meeting Cap was coolcoolcool.

Just got back .... A - fucking -mazing. I'm not sure if this or Avengers was better, but honestly I not gonna waste the brain cells trying to order the movies.

So I avoided all the trailers, press material, etc. and had no idea Falcon was in it. Not only was he done well, but he wasn't just some cameo. Honestly, he alone was better than the entirety of Thor 1 or Iron Man 2.

Winter Soldier was also well done. THAT'S how you do a villain (I'm looking at you Thor movies ... Loki doesn't count, he's almost an anti-hero at this point). He murdered a ton of innocent people, wrecked the ever loving shit out of that air squadron, and had moments to deliver pure domination over Widow, Falcon, and even Cap himself.


Oh, and that SHIELD agent they threw off the roof. Was he the guy who caught Simmons hacking in the Shield HQ in that one episode? I can't remember, but even if that wasn't, I'm sure I saw him somewhere in the show. I guess that means this movie plot directly ties in with the upcoming internal conflict that was revealed last episode.

Bravo Marvel ... Bravo. I literally cannot wait for Avengers 2 now.

You people are smoking something, this movie was far from good. They could have done a ton to give us an interesting back story and instead they just threw out random bits and pieces. But hey, the action scenes are well done, I guess that's all people want.

Exactly what are you referring to when you talk about back story? Every character had their moment and shared some detail about their past, even both factions involved had back story- so you're statement makes no sense at all.
