Captain America: The Winter Soldier (April 4, 2014)

Gimme Arnim Zola in his robot body for Cap 3 PLEASE. Great movie, the action was top-notch. Moment that got me the most excited was when Cap took down the quinjet. I kept waiting for Pierce to reveal himself as some Hydra villain(like Baron Zemo) but it never happened.

You people are smoking something, this movie was far from good. They could have done a ton to give us an interesting back story and instead they just threw out random bits and pieces. But hey, the action scenes are well done, I guess that's all people want.

First film was a plodding bore because of the origin story. They kept the movie going and even at 2:30 it never really felt like it dragged. It's superior to the first cap film in every possible way.

Someone explain the post-credits shit to me because I didn't get it. Are they just setting up another episode of Agents of SHIELD like they did at the end of Thor 2?

Didn't Thor 2's scenes setup Guardian's of the Galaxy and Thor 3? So many post credit scenes, so much to connect =/

The Bucky scene I figure would just be Capt 3 and the scene with the Mind gem and scepter would also connect to Capt 3/Avengers 2?

If Thor 2 did involve the Marvel TV show, I'd love to learn how. I haven't watched a single episode of it

Thor 2 involved Agents of SHIELD but not from any of the after credits scenes...an ep of AoS was set at the university in London, that's about it. Oh and another episode had Syf in it.

Marvels current format is that the 2nd scene has now been relegated to being "non-meaningful" as opposed to the mid-credit scene being the "meaningful" one. That said:

It just shows Bucky looking at his display in the Captain America exhibit, just to show that he wants to know who he really is. No actual plot missed.

At one time Sharon Carter(Agent 13) was brain-washed into shooting Cap and he died at the steps of the courthouse where he was being put on trial for his role in the Marvel Civil War. Bucky took over as Cap for a short time after that.

Contracts or not, it seems that Marvel is heading the way of Civil war. With how Cap 2 played out, it seems very very likely. I just really hope that Sony and Fox get friendly about Spiderman rights for Civil war.

While it was played up alot as part of Civil War, Cap's death honestly had very little to do with it.

Also when I was watching this movie, I was kind of upset that I completely missed the name Rumlow until the very end. I kept wondering why random Shield/Hydra agent guy kept getting so much facetime
