So... I'm going to be able to book a ticket for a screening this Thursday, but I want someone's opinion: RealD 3D or 2D? My only experience with 3D was when I watched Gravity. What will you guys be watching?

I personally have an extreme distaste for 3D but my vision impairment makes it difficult to watch in the first place. If Gravity amazed you, I'd say give it another try. If Gravity didn't amaze you, I'd say it's probably not worth the extra cost.

I only ever enjoy 3d when I'm sitting half way up the movie theater or higher. Any lower and the images just don't appear right to me. If your theater had a shitty small screen, I wouldn't bother.

Thanks for your opinons. I'll think I'll go back to trusty 2D. I remember when I watched Gravity we had our pick of seats so could find the optimal spot to sit in. That might not be the case for a first week showing.

Just got back from watching it. As well as the scene above, so you don't look a tit waiting through all the credits, there's an extra scene at the end as well.

I really enjoyed the whole movie, definitely one of the most interesting Marvel movies.

The Winter Soldier has some awesome fighting sequences, and it's great how brutal they feel.

Yay, so glad people are saying this movie is good. Iron Man 3 was such a let down and Thor 2 was eh, glad to know the movies still have "it".
