Yeah. Contextually it's muddled for me because of the head shot Sedin took prior that got totally ignored, but by itself Keith's elbow was totally indefensible, blatant and extremely dangerous.

er to clarify I have no beef with the Crosby/Giroux exchange, Crosby more or less handled his business there, I think the glove-push thing was some middle school bullshit, but whatever. The Crosby/Hartnell/Adams deal though, that was pure pussiness on the behalf of the Pens all the way around.

Also I'm going to laugh when Crosby's career is ended because he thinks it's a good idea to start fights after a major concussion and Simmonds punches his lights out. As for stars not defending themself, Sid's got 6 fights in his career already and is 5-1 in them on hockeyfights.com. Marian Gaborik has a longer career, and only has two fights, of which hes won neither (1 loss, 1 draw).

Schenn charged someone before Asham cross-checked him. The hit itself that Schenn delivered was clean, but he skated from half the rink away and took several strides right before delivering it.

Sounds just like the Dustin Brown hit to me...other than the fact Vancouver's a bunch of girls who cant defend anything.
Does a clean hit really deserve getting crosschecked in the face and then getting punched in the lower back of the head? It proves my previous point: rough hockey, but nothing really dirty.
