The hit wasn't that bad... he certainly left his feet a lot less severely and with a lot less velocity than about 20 Kronwall hits that the league's allowed to go unpunished. Thankfully for Torres, he only hit torso and not head. Still a charge/interference, but I expect 3-4 games tops. But then again, "THE INJURY DETERMINES THE PUNISHMENT" and your guess is as good as mine on NHL discipline, so perhaps 0-1 games isn't a bad bet.

Sadly this is true. The first thing I thought of when I saw the hit was Kronwall. He does this shit all the time and gets nothing done to him. But the fact that it's Raffi Torres gets him at least a game.
