I seriously thought Milbury was going to lose it; Roenick and him were arguing about the NJD trip on FLA early in OT and Roenick finally pulled a rule book out from somewhere and was like "I've read this; have you?" Then it cut away and Milbury was saying something under his breath that got cut off it seemed. Not as bad as the last one, but awkward; I can't fathom why NBC continues to pair these two up.

Niskanen had been suffering from a separated shoulder. (decently well known)

Steve Sullivan had a hairline fracture in his foot and was getting shots before every game. (mentioned offhand, was believed to be bruise or break)

James Neal's mystery injury he was getting 'maintenance days' for and never practicing because of was a broken finger.

Kris Letang's long hip problem from the past few years was apparently a lot worse this year and hes finally giving surgery serious thought.

Everyone else was fine. Except Paul Martin, who 'had concussion-like symptoms.' LOL yeah. Okay.

Fleury declines invitation since he would likely only see 1 game of action tops since Cam Ward was already declared starter.

Ray Shero said pretty emphatically the big 3 would all still be on the roster come October and Dan Bylsma and both assistants will also retain their positions. Gave no such statement regarding the defensemen, saying it would be evaluated. Cited his time in Nashville as assistant GM, with Suter and Weber both spending time in the AHL, that Morrow and Despres won't be rushed just cause the pro D had issues.
