Serious answer @ BK re: me saying the Yotes are going to win it this year, and it ties into what I said about Game 5 in the 2010 playoffs. Yes, the Kings just beasted on the Blues, and Quick looks impenetrable, but at this point the Yotes are getting every. single. bounce. That's the difference between a good playoff run and a Cup year, not just winning the games you should, but also winning the ones you have no business winning.

tbh they aren't even getting that much benefit there, it's just shit like crazy saves/blocks, pucks that would be amazing scoring chances for the opposition bouncing over sticks, getting outshot 10-1 in a 10 minute span but having that 1 go in, I have to think their shooting percentage is near the tops for playoff teams.

That fucking OTL in Game 1 sunk this series. My advice to the Kings: Dont underestimate these fucks. Jumping on Kings bandwagon.

Maybe its just Phoenix has great goaltending and defense, but seems like the Preds scorers went cold too.

Honestly you have to give it to PHX there...some of the chances that the Preds have had have been A+++++ and they just got stuffed by blocks or Smith

The good news for the Kings is they don't take anyone lightly and even though they made it to the WCF, it means nothing to them unless they win the cup. Sutter has them very well prepared. Still a bad feeling though that Phoenix will come out on top and in short fashion.

Like that...how often do icings get beat in an average NHL game? Once? Yotes have at least two in just this period.
