That narrows it down. No aliens or cyborgs behind the bench next year.
So who does that leave to coach us?

Ivaden, I think you're jumping off the boat too soon. Last January-April was clearly a masterful bit of coaching, keeping that team performing like it did with the guys we had out - he transformed that team into an amazing lock down defensive team that made every team work 2x as hard as the 3rd liners on the Penguins were having to work during their 1st line minutes for goals. Much like Phoenix, and to a lesser extent Nashville, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and LA did for the first two rounds.
I still think Pittsburgh is close to, if not the most dangerous team in the NHL. I think the only reason they aren't still in the playoffs is because they got stuck with their cryptonite in the first round.
Think we are set at goalie now.3 - Goalies in NHL history who have bested a goals against average of 2.00 and a save percentage of .920 in a single playoff season (minimum 14 games) at age 22 or younger - Patrick Roy, Martin Brodeur and Braden Holtby.
Rangers vs Devils, everything is right with the world tonight.
P.S. If you haven't seen this, it's hilarious: http://www.russianmachineneverbreaks...game-seven-pp/
Dustin Brown for Conn Smythe
Caps eulogy is up too: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-pu...204144408.html
Meh, I give that a solid 2/10.
Cheapest second hand ticket to tonight's game:$900. So i have almost 2k in my pocket and zero in cash. Feelsbadman
And yet, Coyote tickets were going for as low as 15 dollars, lol.
Caps and Flyers I agree wholeheartedly. And vice versa for that matter.Caps eulogies should always be done by Pensblog.
Yeah.. I went to the Coyotes game last night. While I was walking to the game, two kids were walking down the street asking if anyone wanted two free tickets to the game. I told them I'd take them and then they were like, okay, how about $10? I was like.. Okay. Sure... I only know like five people out here and the game was about to start, but I figured that if I couldn't get anyone take them then I'd just give them away. I left them at Will Call and two dudes I play hockey with ended up showing up.
I will be the first to admit it is dumb as hell. Coming from South Jersey/Philadelphia, I can't even comprehend playoff tickets, let alone Conference Finals tickets for $5 each (I already bought mine for $40.. Which is ridiculous enough). But yeah. There is my pointless anecdote of the day.
In other news, Go Devils.
