Even if the NHL doesn't support the Sochi Olympics, Ovechkin will be there.
I remember reading an interview with Ted Leonsis where he said if the NHL wouldn't let them go in 2014, he'd personally pay for Ovie's ticket there, and just let him do his thing. LOL

Yeah, Leonsis has always tried to make things easier on the Russian players. Was hoping that would convince Kuzya to come next season, but the rumors on Twitter say that Team Russia officials would leave him off the roster if he didn't play another few years in the KHL.
