So apparently Mike Smith insisted multiple times since the conclusion of last night's game that Dustin Brown deserves a lifetime ban for that hit LOL He keeps saying if Torres gets 25, then that hit should be a lifetime suspension. Reading the yahoo article on it, Brown says in an interview his whole body hit Rosival's whole body and I went back to youtube and sure enough they hit whole side, toe to shoulder to the others' toe through shoulder. It wasn't even exclusively a lower body hit.

Coyotes just uMad'ing cause they lost their composure and focus and weren't focused on playing sudden death hockey after the hit.

I don't get how anyone who watches a replay of that hit can possibly consider that a suspension in any way or form.

If ANYTHING should have been called at all, they could have called a roughing for a MARGINALLY, BARELY late hit. Even that would be a stretch.
