Rangers had a great season. I feel bad for King Henrik. As predicted Gaborik was a fail. Atleast it wasn't due to an injury that caused him to not produce.

I honestly do think Devils will squeek out the win, but I had to pick Kings just to fuck with Jornna.

The silent auction at the end of my charity motorcycle poker derby had some great prizes.

3 game used sticks from Ladd, Bogosian and Buff. A Jets theme golf bad. And a buncha smaller prizes. I'll post them up later.

Didn't have a chance to win because I had to leave for work before the draws

Wanted to grab the sticks and run but there were about a hundred bikers between me and the door.....fuck.

I have never in my life seen an asian ride a motorcycle (I'm thinking like chopper/hog/harley/whatever type-vein of motorcycles.... ive seen plenty of Asian ride zippy speedy bikes)

Hahaha, it's so true. 600+ bikes today. 95% of them touring or roadsters. A few BRP 3 wheelers and then a handful sport/street mix. A few people came up to me and asked if they could sit and handle my bike, surprisingly most were big guys. I was also the only person in the entire derby to not have a black/dark theme equipment. Mix that with being literally the only Asian there, I really stood out lol.

They invited me to next weeks Breast Canacer run. A bit longer than todays. I'll probably go because I hear more Jets still will be there. It's a Sunday too so I can stay for the entire event.

Naw, you're good. 250cc bikes are usually a couple inches lower to the ground. The sporty types, especially the super sports, are always higher. I can't ride 90% of the sport bikes out there without lowering them for my 29" inseam. You can get sporty monsters like the Hayabusa

Yeah I knew some bikes would be "big" enough for me in theory, I was just concerned about starting out on a 250cc because of my size. Not that I want to start on anything bigger than that, despite asking here, I did read most of Tyche's thread about bikes. I have horrible luck with vehicles that don't surround me in metal to begin with and a general concern for my well-being, so there's no way I'd ever start on anything other than a 250. Wouldn't be riding it for too long at once either due to my bad back, so I guess comfortability isn't as much of an issue. At most I'll probably ever only be on the bike for an hour at a time.

Oh I know, like I said, I have no interest on starting on anything above a 250 lol. Kid in my graduating class ended up killing himself on a sports bike, and I have no interest in being #2.

What's gonna happen is I'll probably end up buying my friends CBR some time next year when he's comfortable and ready to step up from a 250 and then go from there.
