Yep, Pens giving the Caps their 7th round pick. Ciao, Brent Johnson.
Pens now resigned Vokoun for 2 years, 2 mil per year cap hit.
I'll take it.
Well, that should drive up the trade value of Bernier if the Kings do decide to trade him.
Also... why is my gif gone in my sig?
Wonder what number Vokoun will end up with.
I wish Johnson would just retire and stick around the organization like Guerin, though. He's a classy guy. Definitely needed an upgraded goalie tandem though, and I feel like this is a lot closer to a 1A, 1B situation than an A and B situation. I like that.
i still ssee it
Yeah, i fixed it. Guess the place that was hosting it stopped.
Luongo still available for any takers. *^.^*
7th rounder for essentially nothing, meh.
San Francisco is cool but kind of depressing. Coldest, cloudiest beaches ever. The food and beer so far has been really fucking good though.
Brad Richards the face on NHL on xbox lol
Luongo back to NYI for DiPietro and the rest of Yashin's cap hit until 2046.
edit: Is me being bored, Eklund style.
@samjam99 UPDATE: It appears Roberto Luongo met with the Leafs' head physician today at a hotel in Toronto… deal looks to be coming together. #Canucks
Island of Misfit Toys.
Honestly if the price is right, I'll take it.
Breakdowns aside, that will be a huge help to Toronto.
Fuck.
Luke Shenn + 1st Rounder + 2nd Rounder
Wow lol.
I'm guessing these are all trades in principal and that they haven't actually been signed since they can't trade until July 1?
I see nowhere on NHL.com the TOR-VAN deal, poster was probably just proposing that. PIT-WAS for Vokoun is a done-deal though; teams trade all the time before not only July 1st, but also the draft, remember PHI trading a pick for Bryz's rights before last year's draft and FA opening? I think you're on a roster/transaction freeze only if you're still in the playoffs....
