Fleury will be better in the playoffs next year since he'll have a goalie that actually belongs in the NHL backing him up and giving him rest. Our seconds were Johnson and Thiessen, and the last relevant thing Johnson did was add another injury to DiPietro's long list. Thiessen played his last game in the NHL.
Fleury will be, but if your D sucks, only so much a goalie can do.
Their defense seems to be their weak point to me. How many solid shut down guys do they have?
Currently none, but we'll get Suter in the offseason. That'll help.
Didn't realize Pens had 8.7 mil in cap space with no really big UFAs to sign.
Hopefully Pens can find someone to take Martin and maybe Michalek
I don't want Michalek gone, I have confidence he'll return to form. Martin can leave and not a single fuck would be given, Despres is ten times the defenseman Martin is.
Shero always has something up his sleeves. Did any of us expect an out-of-nowhere trading for/signing of Vokoun? I hadn't even read any rumors about it.

All I got. June 22 is closing in on us though and that should be fun. But the best day coming up for us is definitely July 1st! Free Agency day is always exciting. Canada day is good too, but not as exciting
Also kicks off the CFL. Not that it matters to most people here, but...SPORTS.

Draft day > FA day
I really hate Taylor Stevens. Shes not even a Kings fan. Shes a leaf fan. They interviewed her on TMZ right after the Game 4 and she could BARELY name 3 of the Kings players. Bitch, you just watched a fucking game LIVE and you can't even remember some of the players names?
2012-2013: Post Traumatic Lidstrom Disorder
I know I havn't been around much since working on a campaign is tough and time consuming. I did want to say grats to the Kings for their cup, congrats to Dustin Brown for being the 2nd American Captain to hoist the hardware, and congrats to Jonathan Quick for being a motherfucking boss. 16-4 was it? Team of Destiny at the outset of the playoffs no doubt. Franchise deserves it.

Yesterdays deadline of 5pm for the devils has passed and instead of forfeiting this year's draft pick #29 overall for that whole circumventing the salary cap with Ilya, they decide to keep this years meaning they still have 2 years to surrender a 1st rounder. So far down in the draft i thought this year would have been a good year for them to give it up.
Mock drafts have them taking Goalie of the Bellville Bulls Malcom Subban. Yeah PK's little bro.
Something I thought of. Not only did the Jackets lose the top over all pick to the Oilers, the pick they got from the Kings went from a mid 1st round pick, down to the 30th pick, lol.
overall the Jackets more or less had the worst year ever lol
No offense, but I've only been complimenting him for several years now. I'm going to search for my past posts of him. Incoming edit.

"I'll CONSIDER four picks for Isaladar/Thoronas.... Bregor I have no sympathy for you though since your situation is the same as everyone else's so you can't claim disadvantage when you have two fans from Chicago, two from Pittsburgh, and one from LA (which, while lacking rd 1-2 picks, has a lot of mid/late-round quality picks - Kopitar/Doughty/Quick/Brown/Richards/Martinez/Gagne) who have to play under the same rules. Ivaden and I can't draft three Penguins, Selamis & Callisto can't draft three Blackhawks, Jornna can't draft three kings, and so on and so forth. If you watch so many games on Versus/online streams, you should have no problem assembling a very capable and competitive team without drafting more than two Capitals. The rule, if anything, puts people who DON'T ALREADY watch/follow out-of-market games/teams behind the eight ball while they catch up learning about the up and coming late rounders like Alec Martinez's of LA and Valteri Filpulla's of Detroit. "
that doesn't mean I know who the hell he is
Thats a fucking dick move, looking at that homer pick limit without context, but frankly, gotta remember Ratapata's team a few years ago was completely unacceptable as every team throttled him like 10-1 each week but not every team played him the same amount of times so some teams had a better win % by about 5% simply cause they had an extra week vs Ratapata and one less week not against a legit team. And frankly, I think most people agreed that, unlike vetoing trades, that move actually panned out well and people liked learning more about other players from outside their own team/division.
That's just because Rata doesn't watch hockey.
