Well when you pick all Canadiens (A) your team sucks and (B) you're stuck with it cause no one wants to trade for people on your team.

Yea I was pretty pissed the 2nd rounder we got from Philly in the Grossmann trade ends up being #60 overall. GMJN has said he thinks the top 50 of this draft are all really good, and we finally make a seller's move at the deadline, only for it to backfire.
No where as bad as Columbus though haha. That poor team.
Things would have panned out even better if you had given people a choice. And frankly, I think most people agreed that, unlike vetoing trades, that move actually panned out well and people liked learning more about other players from outside their own team/division.
Hockey season ends > the Hitler fantasy hockey league arguments begin.
No they didn't; that move actually had support. The whole league suffers when you have Ratapata teams, not just Ratapata. I don't think Ratapata was even suffering, he was all proud of his Canadians-only picks, like "sac re blu! I'm the only one picking the best team - taking these Russians on the Montreal team!!"
If someone else would like Co-GM for Yahoo next season, I'm willing to let a Co-GM be designated, and we can put trades to league vote, but no way in hell will homer rule be removed. That was a good rule that encourages people to learn more about players around the league.
Malcom shouldn't slip all the way to 29th though. Lots of final rankings have him Top 10.
However, until teams start drafting, anything can happen. Angelina Esposito slipped to 54439580th pick after being a guaranteed top 5. Then slipped from late first rounder to "Does he even play hockey anymore?" status.
It's cute you still think people who paid attention to what went on this season will want to join your league next season. Instead of, you know, just creating a new one without an overbearing Commish. If someone else would like Co-GM for Yahoo next season, I'm willing to let a Co-GM be designated, and we can put trades to league vote, but no way in hell will homer rule be removed. I vetoed one trade? Cry me a river. Jordan Staal for Ryan Kesler. Complete joke. And then to think that they could just spam it in the hopes I wouldn't log in for 3 days so it would go through was complete BS. You wouldn't do something your parents, teacher, local police, or boss told you not to do and then not expect consequences when you're caught trying to usurp the authority.
And the penalty was so small it was ridiculous. It was like waving your hand at a fly, saying, 'hey, quit annoying me or Im gonna squish you' but I didn't actually squish them. It was what? 1 day no roster moves?
That you compare being the commissioner of an online sports fantasy league to a position of authority equal a parent or teacher. Just because you create a league doesn't give you the right to go on a power trip pushing your agenda despite overwhelming backlash. I mean, is it really surprising that when you ignore the opinions of 75% of the members of the league, people might not want to join it again next year?
Then again, the fact you think this is about the severity of a "punishment" and not the fact that you blatantly ignore popular majority votes shows you probably will never understand.
couldnt find the video online, but saw it on Around the Horn of dustin brown's kids drinking chocolate milk outta the cup. prolly the most innocent liquid to ever be in the cup lol
Veroing a trade no one had a problem with is blatant dickery. You know those position of powers u talk about? Even the president isnt alowed to veto laws if there is more than 2/3 support, yet you vetoed something with 100% support. You > obama
Bringing it up again for the first time in months: Palin if I get fantasy teamjacked again I will come to your house and cutabitch
