It's an old-school type Dungeon Crawler, really nice game for fans of the genre.

Was just about to make this thread. Very solid, and not just for an indie game. If you like these kind of games from back in the day (and even if you didn't), give it a shot. Only $13.

The recent independent release, Legend of Grimrock, is fast proving that first-person dungeon crawlers are far from dead. After less than a week on digital shelves, the role-playing game has already recouped its development costs "many times over," developer Almost Human Games told Gamasutra, who added that the studio now "seems pretty secure."

It's good news for Almost Human and, more importantly, bodes well for Myth of Bleakstone, our hastily assembled attempt to cash in on the upcoming resurgence of first-person dungeon crawlers.

Wow so this game needs way more love than its getting. I've never been so impressed by a game or experience like the one I'm getting from Grimrock. Its well worth the $15 it costs.
I'm very much in love with what I've played so far. Its challenging though and very old school, I like it a lot. Best part is there is literally no hand holding past the first floor. Its great.

I saw this for sale on Steam a few days ago and though it looked pretty clunky, although I guess that might just be part of the genre? It didn't look like it was gonna do much for me since I've never really gotten into first person dungeon crawls.

Finished this last night at a little over 20 hours. Best 15 bucks I've spent in a long time. The puzzles in this game make Portal 2 look like a children's game. Really great game, I recommend it to everybody, even if you never played this kind of game back in the day (I never did myself).
