Sadly!? No fucking way. The 11 min episodes were so much better (not that the last season was bad, but the previous was markedly better). There was so much filler shit in the longer episodes :\

I've been having trouble keeping up with AS shows. They seem to have very irregular seasons and can end up cancelled without warning. This, venture bros, robot chicken and aqua teen are the only ones I like that are still around and I stopped giving new shows a chance as they're usually awful (the last one I wasted time on starred a talking ass). I actually thought this one was cancelled...

I have to make sure I even saw all of last season because I don't think I've seen it in over a year (maybe that's when the last season was).

Co-creator Matt Maiellaro announced that for the 2012 season, the show's title would be changed yet again, to Aqua Something You Know Whatever and that it is the producer's intention to change the title every year

Meh, The Deth Album II wasn't as good as I imo. But a third cd with the newer season episodes would be badass.

definitely wasn't as good as the first CD, yet it was still better than a lot of actual "real" metal/rock CDs that have come out.

I thought CD2 was better personally. Gears, Bloodlines, Laser Cannon Deth Sentence etc were all great (though I admit most of the songs I like are because of the episodes that came with them). CD1 has some good shit as well, though it feels more comedic than CD2.

Though a 3rd CD would be fantastic. I'm surprised it's taken this long.

Dethalbum II had production values that were way too high for what is basically just a joke, it was so impressive. I bought it the same day as whatever Killswitch cd that had come out recently and it was objectively better in most every way, lol

better metal snake has such a killer tempo to it. i love the first dethalbum. makes me shake my head Dethklok is never on any mag's "best animated bands" lists. Fuck gorillaz.

I think it's because Brendon Small takes his musical work very seriously.

Also while the songs are meant to be funny, the show is basically a dramedy. I think it's the epicness of the story and dialogue combined with the comedy that keeps me so hooked to the show.

Well besides all the murder and great songs of course.

Oh and I can't remember if it's been mentioned in this thread, but this season is only going to be 10 episodes.

But Brendon said that he wants to do a final season + a movie. So I'm not sure if this is the final season or if there will be another + a movie.

While it sucks knowing that there's an ending, it is nice to know that it'll end before it gets stale, and that it has a planned ending as opposed to a cancelled ending.
