    Considering the last two systems didn't get a Mario game till year+ into their cycle, thought it was pretty nice news, but if its not, sorry for posting it and can take it down.

    The report is very unclear, offers no specifics, and certainly doesn't claim it's a launch title. Seems a bit of a stretch to go from "Mario game on Wii U" which was pretty much a given, to it being a reason to buy the system on launch day. SMG was at e3 06 and didn't come out til the end of 07. Is it possible that it'll be a launch title? sure. But it's a mighty big conclusion to jump to.

    Generally nintendo systems do launch in the US with a mario, and SSB was intended to be a launch title.

    Sorry, I guess long time Nintendo franchises getting a new game isn't news anymore, just thought it was cool they are going to show it at E3 and might be a launch title is all.

    it's apparently based on the tech demo shown at last E3, so basically NSMB:WiiU.
