Voice cast press release;

Susan Sarandon, an Academy Award winner and five-time nominee, will make her videogame debut as the former aristocrat, Granny Rags – an intriguing old blind woman now deranged after years of street life. Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe-winner Brad Dourif takes on the role of the inventor Piero, creator of the iconic mask worn by Corvo as well as a wealth of gadgets Corvo can use. Emmy winner and Hollywood-icon Carrie Fisher can be heard broadcasting government propaganda over loudspeakers throughout the city of Dunwall, where the game is set.

The all-star cast continues with John Slattery (“Mad Men,” “The Adjustment Bureau”) who takes on the role of Admiral Havelock, a Loyalist who helps Corvo on his quest, as well as Michael Madsen who brings his videogame voiceover experience to the role of Daud, a mysterious assassin. Chloë Grace Moretz (“Kick-Ass,” “Hugo”) portrays Young Lady Emily, the Empress’ daughter who is kidnapped after her mother’s death while Lena Headey joins the cast as Calista, Emily’s caretaker. In addition to the star-studded voice cast, Composer Daniel Licht (“Dexter”) lends his musical talents to create the game’s original score.

Bethesda Softworks has unveiled the recommended and minimum system requirements for Dishonored, an all-new first-person action game under development at Arkane Studios (known for Arx Fatalis).

The minimum specs are: OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7, Processor: 3.0 GHz dual core or better, Memory: 4 GB system RAM, Hard Disk Space: 9 GB, Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 512 MB video RAM or better (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850), Sound: Windows compatible sound card, Enhanced for: 64-bit and multi-core.

I'm really surprised there isnt more activity here over this game. Just checked out the trailers and videos for this for the first time yesterday and it's definitely the only game coming out soon that i'm excited about. Is there something that i'm missing that's causing it to not have a big following?

Im skeptical because it seems like it'll be steampunk assassins creed(no problems there) but riddled with bugs. Also i have yet to play a first person melee game that was enjoyable combat-wise. Other that that, it looks pleasing enough but not worth my brokeassed money pleasing enough.

Recently got into Deus Ex Human Rev, loved the steath gameplay of that and was hoping to find more stealthy games and then I hear this is coming along. Can't wait!

I really hops this does well, we dont have enough new IP's in my opinion and this game looks like it will be very fun.

Would it be too much to ask for an ingame option to turn off contextual kills? Unless they have like 1000 of them in game they get incredibly boring really fast. Fallout 3 and Skyrim are excellent examples of this and tbh they break the immersion factor. I can't imagine adding options to turn them off would be hard to do.
