I'm shocked I haven't heard about this game before. I saw this thread and thought to myself "What's this?"

It looks pretty good. Not sure how I managed to miss it since it apparently won at Gamescom.

In playtesting, Arkane found that people just weren’t all that able to go about finishing the mission using their own heads. without at least some sort of clue, people would just wander about aimlessly, hoping for the mission to complete itself.

“People would just walk around. They didn’t know what to do. They didn’t even go upstairs because a guard told them they couldn’t. They’d say ‘Okay, I can’t go upstairs.’ They wouldn’t do anything,” explained Arkane’s Julien Roby to Games.On.net

We’re thrilled to announce that Dishonored has “Gone Gold”! After more than three years of development, 30+ versions of the game (accounting for different languages, countries, and platforms) are ready for release. Huge congrats to Arkane’s Lyon and Austin offices, as well as everyone else involved with the project.

Coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, Dishonored will be available in North America and France on October 9, 2012, in Australia and Spain on October 11, 2012, and throughout Europe on October 12, 2012.

It was a joke, lol. Someone is still bitter it seems.

Got so many games coming out from Oct to Nov. Pretty sweet im getting Dishonored for basically 40 at best buy. If someone puts it on sale 30 days after its out ill get it for even less.

Must beat it before ACIII though!

I pre-purchased/loaded on steam. Haven't heard ANY buzz about this game, kinda has me expecting the worse.

Yeah, I'm really confused by that. When it was first showed off it got crazy attention, but then just seemed to peeter out of existence. There wasn't even anything bad said about it, just nothing.
