They were arguing with him for a good amount of time before they went to cuff him. That's why I'm a fan of body cams that need to be on all the time, so you can watch the 10-20 minutes, even hours worth of dialogue prior to physical contact that is so conveniently left out of these videos that cut in when it gets to the juicy stuff.

He didn't deserve to die. I even said where I thought the prosecutor specifically fucked up by nout, charging ALL of the officers involved. Still doesn't absolve him of personal responsibility. That can be taken in to account when charging the officers, but it still can be used to show where Garner's perception of harassment by this group of officers came from.

Think logically about these things. You know why it's so hard to charge cops? Because of knee jerk political BS to headhunt. Close all the loopholes so they can't get out.

For the cases given (minus the 12 year old) no resistance would mean both individuals from Ferguson and NYC would *probably* still be alive.

In this thread i've heard the someone mention resisting during a "unlawful arrest" was used for the NYC incident, but why was it a "unlawful arrest"? It was a law in the books that this individual has been arrested on multiple times in the past.
