I'm not arguing against that, I'm just astonished a 14 year old built a nuclear reactor.

White or not, a 14 year old that can do that should be encouraged and nurtured. Who knows what they may be able to do in the future with the right education, experience, and guidance.

Okay so if those school officials thought it was a bomb, why the fuck didn't they evacuate the school? I mean if they really thought it was a credible bomb threat then their first action should have been to evacuate the building.

Pretty much tells you all you need to know about this situation - they knew damn well it wasn't, but proceeded with an arrest and suspension anyway.

It was a project to be entered in a series of science fairs. Not really comparable. Not that it has to be to illustrate how wrong they were in arresting the clock maker, but this is comparing apples to oranges.

Galkaeater, I think you missed my post where I asked "What if it was a white Kid with blond hair?" to which Kaslo answered with his link. What we are comparing however is the treatment both kids got, can you imagine if something had gone wrong in the home of that nuclear reactor Kid? The impact could have been big in the area where he lives. The kid got rewarded for something incredibly dangerous which could have put hundred/thousand? of people at risk, on the other hand, a muslim kid got arrested because his hobby is building things (an inoffensive clock here) and the ignorant school director asking him to write a guilt statement? Both situation next to each others, its very unfair.
