In all seriousness though some of you need to realize this isn't Call of Duty. I don't know how many times that has to be said when people suggest idiotic unrealistic solutions they see in video games. I see nothing wrong with the way the shooter was handled. Multiple lives have already been killed. They negotiated with him for several hours while he continued to be a threat with his own supposed bomb.

If you're gonna go ball you don't wanna wear down your shoes needlessly, so you throw them in a gym bag and only change into em when it's time to play. And when it is time to change into or out of your shoes, flipflops/sandals are the quickest way to transition between available footwear.
