That might actually be a better approach to getting police held accountable. This whole "scream about how racist the cops are for killing black people" clearly isn't working out well for anyone, but every red-blooded American will get fired up if you start advertising that the police are killing our dogs. People are weird that way, but it just might be crazy enough to work.

It's not about black people. It's about people love animals more than people, because animals are perceived to be innocent. People are donating millions to animal cruelty charities and shit, meanwhile we literally have people without homes, people going hungry at night. That should've been dismaying for years. Edit: to add to my thoughts on this, it looks like the only reason a shitstorm is brewing is because the cop said blacks had "violent tendencies." If he had kept his mouth shut, most people would have no problem with this arrest, because he objectively gave her multiple chances even though she was clearly trying to evade a police officer who was going to pull her over. He told her two or three times that she needed to be fully in the car with the door closed, and she refused to comply. This is very different from being told to produce identification and then shooting the person for reaching in their glove compartment. I have little issue with the way the escalation happened. I also have little issue with what he said, other than the fact that there are no scientific studies supporting his assertion, nor will there ever be because the regressive left has decided it's automatically racist to even suggest studying such a thing.
