Not sure how taking the name of some one helps in any way. Now instead of calling and hanging up, you just end the call with "oh my name is Steve".

Are they taking the persons phone number as well? My name and number were taken when I called 911 two weeks ago. Well, they asked my name and verified my phone number. This was in Tempe, AZ

Spoof phone number
"Hi my name is XXX and my number is 555-5555"

Unless the cops call the number back to verify it, it wont do much.

Our call takers are required to ask for callers name and call back information on every call, the caller can always decline.

The woman who was killed with the standoff with police in Baltimore on Monday had recorded two videos while the police were present. One on Facebook (deleted) and one on Instagram (working). Her Instagram account shows how much she hated white people, police, & the government.

I still have yet to meet one of these mythical "spoiled" millennials. if anything most seem to have suffered from poverty, people constantly berating them for being spoiled (what?), telling them they should be grateful for what they have (they are, but they still try to achieve more because you know, working on minimum wage while struggling to get through college so you can get a bachelor's degree just to find a job that pays 13$ an hour (i shit you not, looking for jobs here in southern cali and i've seen quite a few entries that require such plus 2-5 years experience for that pay rate), all while being told they don't know what they're talking about when it's one of the highest educated generations so far. on top of that it's one of the most generous generations so far, donating more time and money to volenteer efforts than other generations despite their lack of wealthy living.

I mean sure, you hear about one of these occasional "spoiled millennials" in the news once in a while... but that's with news media constantly searching for them. I'm more worried about the generation after ours (late millennials? early gen Y or whatever they're calling it now?) that's more the ones that grew up in a safe space culture, but even then i doubt it will last. kids grow up eventually, we all did stupid shit as kids, we got wiser eventually.

...except for me. i can't think of anything particularly stupid i did, myself, but that's because i'm an introvert and ridiculously cautious by nature. probably because of how clumsy i am.
