There are plenty of instances lately where I see a lot of outcry over someone getting shot because they did something stupid, but this is just awful. I can't see any reason to shoot the guy with a taser even. That's hard to watch.

According to the helicopter cops, he looked like a bad dude.

It's also weird how the cops made a wall and walked backwards towards the dash cam, but I'm sure there is some police reason for do doing a Rockettes wall.

Maybe they should make tazers a different shape so it doesn't confuse the cops? Hopefully cops learned about shapes.

I know that it's been said but police need to be retrained. This is kinda silly at this point. I know some will say 1000 other incidents happened or some bad guys got put behind bars or whatever. But come on.

I was at the hotel bar last night and of course 3 white dudes were complaining about the Monday night football game where some of the black guys not standing or holding their fist up. Must be nice not having to worry about certain things just because of the color of your skin.

That kind of spin is a big part of the problem and why certain people are not given the benefit of the doubt and shot instead of trying to reason with them.

Well now they announced there was PCP in the vehicle... not sure why that wouldn't have been released with all the other info...

But also, Tulsa PD has been caught planting evidence in the past.

Acting funny and having drugs in your car is not a death sentence and they didn't know about any drugs in his car until after he was dead.

I don't think most PCP cases are of guys acting this calm(ish) from what I could tell dude wasn't making any sudden movements or acting like a threat at all.

at this point it doesn't matter if Tulsa police planted the PCP or not; people who have no faith in cops will believe they did and people who support cops will believe the guy was a dangerous drug addict who deserved to die

also, can one of our resident cops explain to me why he was shot and then left laying on the pavement for 1~2 minutes or so? is that standard practice? I understand that cops are not EMTs, but when you're shooting people I feel like you should also be trained on how to save their lives if at all possible
