well, that happened.
well, that happened.
I was feeling pretty bad for humanity in general after watching that video. Then I got to Aiden's comment and everything was all better. Still laughing, and I can't explain why to anyone at work.

Someone... anyone... PLEASE justify the fact that he hasn't been fired and charged to me. Please. I need something to laugh at.
If I were a police officer I'd be furious at the inaction. This guy put every single police officer's life in danger.
I don't think anyone here justified this from the getgo.
idk. Like what if when he heard toy he had flashbacks of stepping on legos barefoot?

South Dakota police are allowed to forcibly take a urine sample with a warrant, even if it is a child. That means a catheter shoved in the pee hole to drain the bladder. Article describes two incidents, both drug related, one with an adult that took four officers to pin a guy and a fifth to record on video, the other was with a 3 year old whose mother's boyfriend failed a test and authorities wanted to see if the child had drugs in their system.
Are we talking about police being assholes to kids? Let's talk about police being assholes to autistic kids.
Getting REAL hard for me to not shout "Fuck the police" these days.
What did the police (SEOs, for what it's worth) do negatively there? Seemed pretty well handled imo. Kid had a warrant for battery against a school board member. Another contextless outrage video.
worked at my university's autism center as an undergrad, broke my heart to hear 'i don't want to be touched please don't touch me'. god bless the police state
The autistic 10 year old was clearly a threat and had to be neutralized before the police can give the common courtesy of telling the cooperating parent who would've been fit to escort her child to the precinct what he was being arrested for. Top notch cop work here guys.
These cops should be at the very least retrained on how to handle situations when apprehending a child. Leaving such ambiguity to why the kid was being arrested is asking for nothing but trouble. When I worked cases dealing with minors it was a policy to coordinate with the parents first before any kind of apprehension whatsoever if there weren't any exigent circumstances. But I guess the autistic 10 year old was ready to make his nefarious move sitting in a school.
Maybe they just saw an episode of the 4400?

Maybe they thought he was one of those weaponized autists from the fourth chan

Suspect in court for traffic ticket drops cocaine on floor
Authorities say a man dropped less than a gram of cocaine in a Lorain Municipal Courtroom on April 20, 2017. He was only there for a traffic ticket. He made a simple traffic ticket with only the penalty of a fine into a felony. A warrant was immediately issued for his arrest.
DOJ not pressing charges in Alton Sterling case. Told WaPo before family or state of Louisiana.

If you want to get sad (or at least I did), Amazon has the documentary from National Geographic LA 92 for free. Should've said, it's about the LA riots after Rodney King's verdict for the most part. I learned some things I didn't know happen during that time period.
