To be hit in the balls provides enough pain to make a man vomit and scream like a little girl or pass out. I can only imagine the amount of pain that occurs from having ones balls squeezed to the point of being ruptured.

If past experiences of the amount of pain that comes with being kicked or hit in the balls is of any relevance, I think the pain from a ruptured testicle would probably make me wish for death.

There's very specific things we're taught during the frisk of a subject, one of which is being very careful around the breasts and genitalia. While it's not required for a female to search a female or male to search a male or whatever, you want to try to be... I wanna say gender specific when it comes to stuff like this. A lot of males will shy away from the crotch area of a male during a frisk or search because of pre-ingrained fear of touching another dudes junk or the pain associated with the touching of a mans genitals, which is funny because 9 times out of 10, that's where people hide contraband or weapons.

I've seen females (not disrespecting female cops or anything) do the whole grab and shake thing like there's nothing there but smooth skin, not realizing that the slightest tap in an area like that can cripple or put a man on to his ass faster than a punch to the throat. They always teach use the blade of the hand, in a front to back motion, start on one side of the penis/taint area and go back to the buttocks, then do the other side. For breasts you use the back of the hand and start in the middle, and lift/slide under the breast to loosen/feel for objects. The way this sounds, the female officer grabbed and twisted. I'm with you on death as opposed to that torture.

Video: Jerk CHP Officer Handcuffs Firefighter Helping Car Crash Victims

A CHP officer was captured on camera arresting a firefighter who responded to the scene of a car crash in Chula Vista last night.

Chula Vista Firefighter Jacob Gregoire, 36, responded to the scene of a crash on the 805 Freeway at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday night. One car had overturned, another had fallen down an embankment and two people were reported injured (one was hospitalized), according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Gregoire parked the truck in the center divider in a way that is meant to protect victims as they were being loaded inside an ambulance. Chula Vista Fire Chief Dave Hanneman told the Tribune, "Our firefighters are trained to use the engine to protect the scene. Our No. 1 priority is the safety of our firefighters and patients."

But a CHP officer who responded to the scene later wasn't happy with the way that the truck was parked, and he asked Gregoire to move it. Gregoire refused and went back to helping the crash victims, a local CBS affiliate reported. The dispute escalated quickly, and Hanneman said the CHP officer threatened to arrest Gregoire: "The officer said, 'No, you need to move now or you'll be arrested.'"

The officer then proceeded to cuff Gregoire in full view of a TV news camera, while other firefighters worked to help the victims. Gregoire was detained in the back of a CHP squad car for about a half hour until the supervisors from both agencies arrived. Here's the CBS newscast that includes footage of Gregoire being cuffed:

CHP told news outlets that they weren't offering comment until the incident was investigated. Hanneman told CBS, "To detain one of our firefighters in the middle of an incident is ridiculous."

While CA law does give the CHP officer the right to make ambulances and fire trucks move, that officer was a friggen tool.

Can't even wrap my head around this. In almost every scenario I've ever been in, The Board always has the scene until it becomes unsafe or the investigation takes priority to ensure proper criminal proceedings and then, only when, the scene is stable and there's no loss of life. 9 times out of 10 you call in The Board if the scene becomes unsafe ANYWAY because they are equipped to handle unsafe shit. What a shit show...

It's Chula Vista, why does this not surprise me. Wonder if this will get brought up in our monthly meeting like some of these other facepalming things does.

While not something that made the news, my friend woke up to finding his car totaled outside his house. Drunk driver hit it and the police officer instead of going to his apartment, just left the police report clipped to the windshield wiper. They couldn't even walk inside the building and take the two minutes to go to his apartment, knock on his door and say sorry, your second car has been totaled by a drunk driver in the last 7 years. Have a nice day.

Police Shoot And Kill 80-Year-Old Man After Wrongfully Raiding His Home For Meth

An 80-year-old man was shot and killed by police officers after they mistakenly thought he was cooking methamphetamine in his home.

The slain man is Eugene Mallory, a retired engineer living in the rural fringes of Los Angeles County.

On June 27, 2013, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies stormed onto Mallory's property and into his house. LA County Sheriff narcotics expert Patrick Hobbs claimed he “smelled the strong odor of chemicals” coming from Mallory’s home.

After breaking into the home, deputies claim Mallory was walking down the hallway with a gun pointed at them. Sgt. John Bones says he told Mallory to drop his gun, and when the elderly man refused to comply, they shot him. The shot killed Mallory.

The deputies have since revised their story -- they were forced to do so after puddles of blood found on Mallory’s mattress indicated he was shot while lying on his bed.

Investigators found yet another problem with the deputy’s story after listening to an audio recording of the event. Rather than shooting Mallory after he refused to drop his gun, deputies shot Mallory first and then ordered him to drop the gun.

When it was all said and done, Sgt. Bones shot Mallory six times. Mallory’s gun was found on his bedside table without one shot fired.

The raid turned up no evidence of methamphetamines. Mallory’s widow, Tonya Pate, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

Also a big fan of how they prop up his lifeless, limp body after killing him, trying to make it look like he's alive.

Not all cops are thugs, but you give even the best of people real tangible power over other human beings and it doesn't take long for them to become what I can only describe as truly evil. It only gets worse and worse as we fail to hold cops accountable for their actions. None of these guys will be prosecuted for murder (they all should be), and probably none of them will lose their jobs.

Early on Feb. 15, police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance and tried to question Luis Rodriguez, Moore Police Chief Jerry Stillings said at a news conference last week. Rodriguez was pepper-sprayed before officers used two pairs of handcuffs to restrain him as he was face down on the ground, Stillings said.

Nair Rodriguez has told media outlets that police beat her husband and that he died outside the theater, but there are no signs of punching or kicking in the video. Stillings has said there are no indications that batons or other weapons were used.

Allegedly they came out to a call for a domestic, the husband refused to I.D. himself and resisted the officers. Wife admitted she struck their daughter; why she wasn't arrested and why he resisted remains to be seen.

Can't see from the video but it doesn't look like they were striking him or anything. Blood on the subject and on the ground allegedly is from one of the officers (as stated in the article when the officer was interviewing the wife). Two sets of cuffs... that's a big dude. I'm not saying they shouldn't be held accountable, but these things happen. From what I'm getting from the video they were trying hard to subdue the guy without exerting too much force on him and at a certain point, the best thing to do is lay on the guy.

While they were successful (although it was very sloppily done), constricting the chest like that can lead to asphyxiation, which is why most agencies are getting away from pinning the subject on the torso area and triangle pinning instead (going for a shoulder like taking a leg off a table) and then using leg control techniques to keep the legs from moving. It's an effective tool that requires far less physical force and less officers. At a certain point once the brawl reaches a good amount of time, sometimes you have no choice but to lay on the guy but that type of prolonged struggle can exhaust you quicker than the previous tactics.

Then sitting the guy up is pretty dumb as that further constricts the chest and closes the windpipe which can asphyxiate the subject more. Usually you roll them on their side in to the recovery position; this keeps them still in control and you can protect their airway/have them in a good position to preform CPR if needed. It looks like he's still breathing while sitting up but he probably lost too much oxygen at that point to recover.

Lot's of factors play in to these in-custody deaths as well. Relative size/age of the subject is one. Physical conditioning and injury are another. Depending on how worked up he got, he could have easily succumbed to Excited Delirium (acid in the muscles from intense physical exertion enters the heart and brain and kills you). Alcohol and drugs can play another factor as well. I'm gonna have to stay on the fence with this one. I've seen a lot more brutal cases of police brutality recently and I just don't see that here. It generally looks like they weren't trying to hurt the guy and as much as it pains me to say this, stuff like this happens.

I honestly didn't see anything "excessive" while trying to cuff him, even more so since he is a pretty big guy.

My only problem with the video is when they sat him up. Male is non responsive, so let's sit him up and leave him sitting up? That was incredibly stupid

Marcus Jeter faced a years-long prison sentence.

The New Jersey DJ, 30, was arrested in a 2012 traffic stop and charged with eluding police, resisting arrest and assault. Prosecutors insisted that Jeter do prison time.

"The first plea was five years," Jeter said.

But after Jeter's attorney, Steven Brown, filed a request for records, all of the charges against him were dropped, with dash-cam video apparently showing what really happened June 7, 2012. Now, the officers are facing charges.

The video, which prosecutors say they never saw before filing the initial charges, shows Jeter holding his hands above his head.

"The next thing I know, one of them busts the [car] door and there is glass all over my face," he told ABC News station WABC-TV about the arrest.

"As soon as they opened the door, one officer reached in and punched me in my face. As he's trying to take off my seat belt, I'm thinking, 'Something is going to go wrong.'"

Jeter says the cops continued hitting him, telling him not to resist arrest.

"And when they open the [police cruiser] door, about to put me in, the officer hits me in the back of the head again," Jeter said.

The incident began when police responded to a domestic violence call at the Bloomfield home Jeter shares with his girlfriend. No charges were filed, and Jeter says he left after briefly talking to officers.

Police followed, trailing him along the Garden State Parkway. Dash-cam video shows Jeter pulling over and stopping on the highway shoulder.

The two officers pulled out guns.

Jeter didn't get out of the car. He was afraid.

"There was a cop on my left with a gun pointed at me, a cop on the other side with a shotgun," he said.

The video that was not initially turned over -- from the dashboard of a second police cruiser -- shows a third officer coming from the opposite direction, crossing the median and striking Jeter's car. That incident was not mentioned in any police reports related to the arrest.

As soon as prosecutors saw the second video, they dismissed all of the charges against Jeter.

A grand jury has since indicted two Bloomfield police officers -- Orlando Trinidad and Sean Courter -- on various charges, including conspiracy and official misconduct.

Trinidad was also charged with aggravated assault. Both officers have pleaded not guilty.

The third officer pleaded guilty to tampering.

One thing I learned about this job: Big brother's always watching. You never know when you're on a camera. People in the business wonder why more agencies are going to lapel cameras. The majority of cops out there don't do stuff like this but it's the few that take it too far and get caught that need to be weeded out. Conduct yourself appropriately at all times and you don't have to worry about shit like this going down.
