And your Audiobooks, too? Doubt the audible formats would even upload so I assume if they're mp3s they're ripped from CDs or pirated.

I've had audible books, fuck audible books. I actually had an audible subscription and cancelled it because of they ridiculous DRM issues. I doubt it would upload the asinine audible format.

It's pretty cool, but transcoding everything to mp3 makes it useless for what i wanted

Personally I keep the music I listen to in v0 and that is what I store with google. They will transcode FLAC, ogg and aac files at 320 kbps CBR mp3.

Try using FLAC for storage, I would not use Apples lossless codec. Do you honestly rip to ALAC instead of FLAC, why?

I actually have all my music in both FLAC and apple lossless. Got tired of having a separate mp3 collection, but wanted to put music on my iphone too for the car, so I just made everything AAC. Can't fit as much on the phone but its ok, have a portable headphone amp so its not all bad.

No, i have one album that i downloaded as alac, and didn't care to convert to flac.

Extra free storage is always cool, but can you hotlink? Since I can hotlink with dropbox, that's all that really matters to me for actual non-storage usage. I hate being forced to share with direct links that take you to some retarded viewer (which dropbox also has, but it can hotlink as well).

To answer my own question since they gave me access: no, you can't hotlink. Thus, this is useless to me.

This is bad. Google automatically designated a place to save the GoogleBox, but an error arises when it attempts to do so. Changing the location also produces an error. What the fuck? I assume this is because I put my User account on the secondary drive.
