    Windows 7 Hangs on Shutdown

Ok so I just built a new PC and every once in a while whenever I shutdown windows will hang and I have to do a hard reset. Nothing bad happens afterwards just kind of annoying. I also noticed that my .exe files will show up as white page icons when this happens.

    Specs

    i5 2500k
    geforce 560 ti
    asrock p67 extreme4 gen 3 mobo
    crucial 128gb SSD
    vengeance 8GB ram
    ocz 600w psu

any idea why this is happening? I don't have a PCI extra USB plugged in just the ones that are on mobo.

It's more than likely one of your devices that's hanging the OS. i.e. a flash/external/virtual drive or another piece of equipment (such as a printer).
