Don't really know besides planning your build out carefully, though you are a bit free to choose whatever, but just keep in mind you're limited to only 3 re-specs per character.
Also, holy shit, didn't know you could get sent to jail in this, lol...
Another thing, just defeated Demon Lord on Floor 9, was expecting it to be pretty tough but it wasn't that bad. Looking forward to trying the higher floors though since they're suppose to be more challenging. I think I'll run through floor 8 a few more times to get the "50% chance that 0MP will be consumed when casting" Accessory for the rest of my bags.
Isn't it actually more?
Spoiler: show
Well, that and Amnesia potions are shared between characters, so you can actually re-spec as much as you want, providing you feel like unlocking the Labyrinth on new characters.
That too.
Ah, I see. I read that you only get them from Floor 3, 6, and 9. After that you apparently didn't get anymore. Since I just literally unlocked the rest of the floors, I couldn't see for myself. If that's true, that's much better then.
To me it seems like damn near every class is a monster, lol. Elf can shred bosses in seconds, dwarf puts out really good damage with double power smashes and has great survivability, both mages have great burst with their spells, and fighter deals solid damage and has cool buffs. Dwarf is my boy though. Throwing bitches into bitches is the best shit ever. 54 and counting. I need more time to play, lol.
Bombs and barrels on bosses is pretty fun too. They do so much more damage than I thought initially. Haven't really experimented with fire bracers yet so can't comment on those. Glad to see someone else is enjoying dwarf.
Think I'ma roll Elf or Assmazon next, such a tough choice choosing between the two.... I'm leaning towards Elf though. I could do both, but I wouldn't feel like doing all side quests a 3rd time most likely, lol.
This game just gets better the more you play it. Goddamn.
Edit: Just found out after beating the game that fucking Chrono Trigger / Ogre Battle Hitoshi Sakamoto did the music. No fucking wonder why I'm in love with the Castle of the Dead and Adventurer's Guild themes.
Ended up rolling a Dwarf after realizing you could play with the letters in your name, and naturally that led to me making it look as stupid as possible. That and he reminds me of Hugo from SF3 with the way you can wallbounce enemies with a throw and then belly-flop them.
God damn the thing looks great on the OLED screen. Watched GiantBomb's quicklook at 720p and didn't think much about it on my laptop display. Kinda curious now how Muramasa also looks on the little handheld that could since it's the same crew. Not sure how I'll spec myself, but I'm going to run blind for now, at least for normal difficulty, since I can respec later.
Muramasa looks absolutely FANTASTIC.
Anyway, please do not fly around dropping bombs everywhere and quickly going room to room skipping treasure and shit like every other annoying Dwarf I've seen online.
Ugh, I hate Dwarf players.
Muramasa is my favorite Vanillaware game hands down.
Granted I'm only level 55, but I never see Amazons online, usually only Archers, Sorcs and other Fighters. I know Amazon is god-tier from my readings. What do?
Probably just bad luck. I run into Amazons the most, then Elves 2nd, after that it's probably Sorc.
Seriously considering dwarf as my second, just to throw bitches into bitches. This game is so lulzy.
Finally got the Legendary Strike trophy, rest of the platinum should be easy enough now.
I find the cooking trophy to be more annoying than legendary strike... I'm not even worried about legendary strike since I already have the equip to get it, I'm just too lazy to run through and actually get it, lol. What I want to know is, if the cooking trophy is tied to one character only, or just the save file in general, 'cause it'd be nice if I could cook different meals across different characters and still get it. Either way, not really aiming for plat atm.
Started lvling up my Elf an she's starting to become fun now as I'm nearing 60. Hitting flying mobs is still a PITA for me though.
I could've messed it up because at the time I was exhausted, but I think Gourmand has to be on 1 character only, I remember cooking the last meal I needed on a second character and it didn't pop the trophy. That said, it's really not that bad, it took me about 30-40 minutes from start to finish.
Elf is pretty damn fun, but yeah flying mobs are indeed a pain to hit. I waste so many arrows trying to hit them and end up just kicking them to death.
