Also saiyans have that zenkai bullshit, so if the hulk doesn't kill him right away goku is going to keep getting stronger and stronger just like the hulk. It's probably going to be a stalemate unless that nigga drops hulk off into space like it was said.

I am pretty sure they meant in terms of potential given that due to getting stronger with anger... Hulk theoretically has infinite strength.

Sorta, but it also explains in the same passage that Goku's zenkai requires him to have time to recover... I mean, I guess if he had some of those Senzu beans it'd work well mid-battle but otherwise probably not.

I read somewhere that Hulk and Supes did have a meeting, and Hulk broke out of a hold and punched Supes into space, and he said something along the lines of "not only is he fast, but he's strong!"

Hulk wins, because fuck Goku. Long live SSJ2 Gohan, or even Mystic Gohan.

If we're going on raw power, Goku, but if we're going on the characters, Hulk wins by a mile. It is impossible for Goku to act outside the confines of his design, which is always to hold back unless absolutely necessary. Hulk, meanwhile, is designed to become stronger the longer a fight lasts, and the longer an opponent continues to enrage him. Unless Hulk could somehow find the same "joy" in the battle that Goku expresses, he'd never calm down from the blows he'd take from Goku, and would overwhelm Goku. By the time Goku realized his typical "oh man, I've gotta get serious now~" trope, he'd be severely injured and Hulk would seal the win.

because it's a stupid comparison.

In the Marvel universe, being able to blow up a planet is something that only the biggest bads can do and requires concentration/effort.

In Dragonball Z, being able to blow up a planet is what happens when any of a few dozen people sneeze in the wrong direction.
