The only time I will want to kick someone is if we're in Balder's Temple and their item level is too low. That last boss needs a pretty strong group. Lately we have shown that with moomba and tsumi we can do it with any random DD.

Also, I highly recommend using "V" for your jump. It's right above where my thumb rests on the spacebar and is easy to reach. Remapping my jump was one of the best things I did as a lancer.

I have my dayslayer now because a friend found me a cheap one (since slayer is the most expensive of all on my server), but I got insta booted by people previously for not having a +9 dayslayer even though I have cleared BT multiple times (in groups with my friends who had no enigmatic gear/weapons at the time, go figure!) because I'm not a retard and actually know how to play/use meds. I've had groups of +9 dps that died every two seconds because they were garbage, so item level should never be a basis for anything really in my opinion.

This is what happens when you take tooltips too seriously. The only bad thing about TERA is you can't judge how good or capable people are by their gear (but this can be good too, if you're a more positive person).

Right, and I agree. I just find it easier to watch someone and then make the judgment call (as you can always kick them mid run and replace if needed), not go "omg 144 item level bye" and insta kick the second someone ports in. I have no qualms kicking someone who can't perform, but kicking someone who isn't even given a chance because of some sort of pseudo elitism from a two second equipment glance on a boss that actually isn't very hard.... And yes, I'm mad, but my point still stands.

I understand where you're coming from but just notice that I said "The only time I will want to kick someone" and not that I kick everyone if their item level is somewhat low. I think our group has only kicked 3 people from a run and I believe all of them were healers. One was just a complete dick and rude, one was clueless and wearing crit from behind crystals, and I can't remember what the 3rd was for. Just to defend myself I have spent many runs now explaining every part of the dungeon to first timers. I really try to be a nice guy at all times.

It's probably funny to people who know me because I often got referred to as a douche in game, especially when I was a leader in XI because I was often seen as an "elitist". But there is being an elitist because you expect someone to perform, and being an elitist because you're following some kind of hysteria over numbers that actually are nowhere near important as skill. This game is different from any other MMO, so judging it should also be different in terms of gear/skill.

I have never failed a Balders. Period. It is literally about bringing your consumables, knowing your rotation on slayer(because it literally changes every time a CD resets) and generally not sucking.

I've never seen a single enigmatic weapon drop from BT, not to mention a dayslayer. All of us have bought ours because it was a better investment to farm and just queue up together while we did so in the vain hope that we might see something.

Our group (groups?) are filling up on the drops pretty quickly, actually. The big hold outs atm are Moomba and me (he's been shouting for 3 days to trade his weap for the 2 we got). It's getting pretty ludicrous.

Multiple groups in guild, a guy sold me the enigmatic axe for 500gold. Now if only i could get the enigmatic body... although! the price on the body has gone from 6K gold a week ago to 3K's now. Hopefully it'll go down further in the next day or so since theirs 7 up, and 4 of'em are 3K-3.5K

I remember this one LFG group I had on my sorc, the mystic followed me around all over the place dropping blue balls, was even following me when the boss was following me around and dropping hp balls O_o

P.S. sorc is op, 70K+ crits at lv 38 in cr wut

The fuck is up with outside instances and being laggy as shit. Sigil, Peak and others are just terrible on fps and I feel like my swings are 90% slower then doing any other dungeon, but my computer can handle zones full of mobs just fine, its only in an instance that it seems to be very sluggish and I think it's not on my side. Anyone else notice this? Skygarden didnt lag me at all, go into Peak and im swinging my swords like they are made of a very heavy substance that is not metal.

I also hate the outside instances because they rarely ever drop ANYTHING. Just did a Peaks and got NOTHING from any boss, jack shit for the time spent.

Some of the fault in that lies in their ui, if you turn it off and look at fps gained.. its pretty random they haven't fixed whatever is bogging down fps with it on.

That...seems really really odd. I've never had a same level, none elite mob, crit me for that much damage. Even the HM elite sloth mobs can only crit me for 15k health.

Mobs outside of Habere, one wound up his axe and I didn't notice it, next thing I know i'm lacking a crystal and back in town. Was only a lvl 57 normal mob too.
