12 fucking golds to get +6 on my chest and STILL HAVNT GOTTEN IT
12 fucking golds to get +6 on my chest and STILL HAVNT GOTTEN IT
I say use white and greens. The cost of golds is way too high. Use gold when you need refined alkahest. I feel your pain though.
This was the game saying use greens + blues for 1/12th the cost, but you stubborned through the pleas.
RNG can rape you, its best to use green/whites that drops like candy off mobs to get to +6, and not use golds.
I've personally been able to +4-5 everything, so far(3 sets of gloves for crit+), using purely whites, with what seems a standard failure-rate. Usually hit up greens and/or blues depending on the avail. for my +6. Most everyone I've talked to has always said to save golds for +7~
I mean, if golds were any exception to the rule of the RNG and gave you a super-high success rate, then I'd consider them for 4-6, but until then, I will gladly fail 10 times on whites and greens for a small inconvenience of time.
Golds aren't even a good rate after 6... I've blown tons of blues AND golds trying to get a single +9. No dice. I know some people that have done 3/3 or 3/5 or whatever on their weapons. I'm currently 2/50something. Yes, /cry in every damn thread. It's really pissing me off.
You should just get another weapon and start enchanting. Maybe you got a bad one.
bored of the game... bored of BT and Fane after doing them 100000000x times
^ I actually can't even bring myself to do much on my sorc or warrior right now. I did SA on my lancer once or twice and then just logged off to watch TV. Guild has no one online right now, zones are empty and a few not even ran by vanarchs anymore. I'm just glad I got chronoscrolls for the next few months. Content update needs to get here fast and the problems need to be touched up very soon because the game is bleeding. It pisses me off too because I love the combat of the game, and leveling characters is fun as well, just you can only do so many so often w/o getting burnout on that because it's all the same zones over and over.
Something happend over this past week
Last week lvl 48 boss dmg crystals sat around 80-100 gold
Last night they are around 200 gold and the 58 boss dmg at 300+ alot being listed by the same people. Buying up all the crystals and re-selling them 200% markup price.. fuck this
This happened to my group last night sadly we weren't recording
Doing Last boss of HM Kaprima one of our smoothest runs maybe 1 death the entire dungeon
Get him to 2-3%, in his "ima walk away from you because your kicking my ass" stage.
He flies backwards near the gate... we all stay in the center
Lands and then starts to walk outside the gate and re-fucking-sets himself
Swear this game has something against us
Is the content even out in Korea yet? Didn't AION run into this problem as well; being bottlenecked by having everything having to pass to Korea before it can make its way here?
Edit: I'm talking about stuff like battlegrounds and the like, not another end-game instanced dungeon.
I think QoA2 is out in korea already, that time frame that Senji posted is balls though, almost 2 months after it comes out in korea we get it? I know Aion suffered more from the fact it had basically 0 end game and what end game it did have didn't drop jack shit, nothing like spending 4hrs in a dungeon to loot the last boss and see nothing in the loot window. TERA isn't far off from that sadly, but at least the bosses drop SOMETHING. What I don't get is how Kaprima pretty much always drops 1 piece of enigmatic armor, I have never seen her/him not drop one...but the last boss in BT I have seen go 20 runs in a row w/o dropping a weapon at all...that's bullshit. I understand weapons are more important then armor, but it shouldn't be that terribly skewed.
they intentionally hold content back so they have something to release. Korean games can go a looong time w/o a real content patch, so t hey are intentionally holding stuff back so it doesn't seem like content has a Dragon Soul WoW cycle (8+ months) lol
it's not a terrible idea on paper, but the fact is that the game doesn't have much content anyways to begin w/
I think that if it was jam-packed with content from the get-go, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Kudos to them for spicing up the into level, but even that shows that they (at least the NA side) were aware that they were shipping a game with a lackluster amount of content packed in. When people become unhappy with, or at least complacent with a product, they start to nitpick more and more things about the product that someone who is still in love with it wouldn't normally see or address. They, in turn, get called a whiner, but really, both sides have solid ground to stand on.
Looking back on it, I could have taken a bigger look at the fact that the NA devs thought that it'd be a good idea to spice up the intro level as a sign that things were going to be bland at some point (the point being right off the back if you're critical of the game, which some reviewers were), but shit, that didn't matter when the combat system was so fresh and badass. Flash forward to now and yeah, combat alone isn't enough to make up for a dearth of content. As the peons in Warcraft 3 shouted so eloquently:
"We need MORE (insert content here)!!"
MMOs seem to consistently make the same mistake: shipping without a robust competitive gaming system.
CoD, LoL, WoW Arena, SC2 (along with many other games) show that you don't need a massive amount of content. All you need is a well done ranked competitive gaming competition to keep a massive number of people occupied as long as the game mechanics are good enough.
This game's combat system is amazing. Imagine if this game came with the equivalent to WSG, AB and Arenas? I would hardly be able to log off. Hell, they could have a version of MOBA and I'd play that all day.
I'd happily give up a dungeon or two for a well designed pvp system at launch.
Yeah launching without battlegrounds was a huge mistake imo. Also the whole idea of knocking some of the dungeons to lower levels like Sigil and Suryatis was stupid as hell, at least that would give people something else to do at max level and a way to get weapons/armor if the enigmatics were dropping since the ones that drop in there are almost on par with +9 items.
