Don't get me wrong, I agree with the complaints and problems with having so much gear, but *eventually* down the road all that hassle should be eliminated with the maniquin system.

No one is forcing people to play classes, they are just making a it a viable option with these new gears. You can sacrifice some AF and abilities for these new sets and gain a wider array of abilities to choose from.

Servers are fucked atm, can't teleport, keep falling through terrain and shit. @_@ Emergency maintenance is coming soon I bet.

Edit: Can't login to my character now. None of the info is popping up.

I was able teleport fine out of Ul'dah, heard a lot of people having trouble getting out of Grid. Walked outside and no mobs popped up and wasn't able to use choco.

Mini Garuda fight is actually fun (albeit expectedly easy). Her adds try to destroy the pillars that you need to hide behind to mitigate damage from her "Aerial Blast" attack, which happened at like 25%. "Mistral Song" is also not to be messed with, did 2/3 as much damage and knocks back hard (happened after pillars were wiped out).

I can't imagine ever taking off my Drg AF gear, it looks so good, no matter what the stats are for the new gear. That's part of the problem of SE making sexy gear for old-school fanboys like myself. Hell, it pained me to take off my Wyrm Armet back in XI, it looked so good. Thank God Homam actually looked pretty baller (although rocking that turban made me a sad panda).
