I would absolutely not mind regulation and certification for people who wanted to become professional community peoples. There are a lot of cool CMs and GMs out there, but you always know this one neckbeard you went to high school with that could never get a job in the real world who ends up somehow landing a CM/GM position with some gaem company because he plays a lot of vidya and it makes you question the whole system.

Most people find programing boring. Personally, I was up till 7am and was only able to sleep for 4 hours because I am engrossed in teh code. When I get started on a project, I have a tendency to lose myself.
