Went ahead and added Tachi: Ageha to Sam's spreadsheet. Replaced Vit stat with Chr (not sure why I had Vit in there in the first place..).

Yeah, you're right. It wasn't calculating in any new info (the number was stuck). It wasn't just INT. I rebooted Excel and it seems to be working now. Though I will say it still seems low. Unresisted, Sanguine Blade does a good 25% more damage than what I'm seeing here. Is that because of other factors, and/or is it averaging out, taking resists into account?
Hmm. Well, part of the loss is that it's still factoring in hit rate, and DA/TA/QA.... fixed that. See what it looks like now.
Pup spreadsheet, when adding haste to the set bonus in first set it shows up as % and doesn't add to the haste% below, 2nd set is working fine though
Fixed.
Is the Spell Gear tab of the BLU spreadsheet working? I'm trying to figure it out and it's getting me nowhere. Basically, I can add the gear in just like I would in the Gear tab, but I can't figure out where to select the spell to display projected damage and it doesn't look like there's anywhere for the damage to actually display either. Just trying to make sure I'm not missing something. lol
No, it's not implemented yet.
Alright, thanks for clearing that up.
EDIT: Not trying to nag or anything, but are there plans to get that up and running? Just curious.
Eventually, but there are higher priority things I'm doing right now.
That's perfectly fine. I was just curious. ^^
It may have been answered somewhere but does the DRK's spreadsheet take in account the Apoc AM? Or should I add it manually and where?
When I'm watching the haste numbers I don't see it.
Minor nitpick from a melee WHM:
The Double Attack Tahtib (Club) is in the weapons table is missing its Double Attack.
Correct stats are Damage 79 Delay 340 Double Attack +11
Also, when I put the exact same setup in gearset 1 and gearset 2 I get different DPS results, are gearsets 1 and 2 supposed to be for comparative purposes or am I misinterpreting their purpose?
/edit
Also, either Fencer isn't implemented for Whm/War or I'm a dunce who cant figure out how to turn it on, identical Hexa setups are within 2% critrate of each other between /Nin and /War when they should be more than 5% apart due to Fencer
Weapon: Fixed
Fencer: Added
If the two sets are set up identically, but not giving the same results, that's a bug. I can't reproduce it offhand, though, so if you can track down where the differences occur, that would be helpful.
Thanks, every time I open the spreadsheets, regardless of which sheet, I get different results from setting the gear and buffs equal, could it be Openoffice thats the problem? Its happened with different versions of the spreadsheets too
Some people have had problems with OpenOffice. Try LibreOffice and see if it still happens.
Hello,
Using Thf sheet i have few questions if you don't mind pointing me to the right direction:
1) When comparing Two exact sets but the difference is one with Berserk on and other without, does that assume that berserk is being activated whenever its available (locking it in) or that its on in all time?
2) What does the sample split/Set ratio represent? and do i need to change it in any situation ?
3) The Sneak attack/Trick Attack options (None/Solo/ws), when the option is WS does that mean all your ws are stacked ? what if tp is ready and its not (ex your gaining fast tp which is sometimes the case ) basically what im referring to is that if i stack every ws i might have over 100 tp each time is it being counted ?
4) This is related to 3 what if i put both Sneak attack and Trick attack had the option (WS) what does that mean ?
5) Sometimes your total damage for set 1 is higher the set 2, but set 2 wins on DPS is that because of faster WS spam?
I really apologize for all these questions
All the time. See next answer.
For determining your average damage over the course of say, 5 minutes when /war, you use 180 (seconds) for the set with Berserk, which lasts 180 seconds, and then 120 seconds for the set without berserk, because berserk is down for 120 seconds. Then it will weight the two sets proportionately and you use the combined DPS as your long term DPS. (As a war main with berserk recast merited down 50 seconds, you'd use 70 seconds for the berserk down set.)2) What does the sample split/Set ratio represent? and do i need to change it in any situation ?
Assuming you're using Thf2: It uses multiple sets of conditions, and picks the best result. It works through, figuring it takes A seconds to get enough TP to weaponskill, and stacks that weaponskill with SA; you then have B seconds left before you can use SA again, so it works out whether you have enough time to get TP again before SA is ready, and if so, whether it's better to hold TP (eg: got 100 TP at 45 seconds, and SA has 50 second recast, it it work holding TP for the extra 5 seconds, or should it weaponskill immediately and build to 100 TP again, pushing the stacked WS interval out past the default recast); or, if it takes more than the SA interval to reach 100 TP, how much the interval is extended.
Same thing with TA.
It's a complicated mix of math, and sensitive to the timing intervals, so you should be very careful in relying on it. It's best to spend time learning how the different values interact if you want to use the thf spreadsheet.
When you have both SA and TA stacked, it has to juggle both numbers.4) This is related to 3 what if i put both Sneak attack and Trick attack had the option (WS) what does that mean ?
DPS is damage per second (ie: damage/time), where time is the time it takes to completely evaluate all combined SA and TA intervals (or one weaponskill interval if neither SA nor TA are stacked). If damage for one set is higher and the time is the same, then DPS for the set with higher damage will obviously be higher. If damage for one set is higher, but it has a lower DPS, that means the denominator for the other set is sufficiently lower to offset the higher raw damage value. Basic math.5) Sometimes your total damage for set 1 is higher the set 2, but set 2 wins on DPS is that because of faster WS spam?
Cheers Foldypaws and Motenten for clearing things up that definitely helped,
Could you please elaborate more on what values to look up for to improve my understanding of sheet.
Edit: How would I setup the sheet such that stacked and unstacked WS is different (ex stacked RS and unstacked Evis) is it possible ?
That's on the basic setup page, under SATA Weaponskill. Pick which weaponskills you use with each stacking form.
