Ok, all spreadsheets updated to 12/1024 haste and 2% crit rate. May take a few minutes to finish uploading.

Your Thf spreadsheet (open office compatable one) has a slight problem. Under the merits category from Dagger Skill down to Exenterator gives the race options. So for example I can have Galka Merits in Exenterator and Hume merits in Assassin's Charge. i just format painbrushed the str/dex/agi merit cells over them, but thought you should know.
I can't see that problem here (including a check in LibreOffice's Calc). Did a fresh save and reuploaded it, though.
Could well have just been my open office. It was acting a bit buggy after that, cells would be screwey until I scrolled them sideways offscreen and back again.
Broke out the magic damage spreadsheet into multiple, per-job spreadsheets. I felt that the gear clutter was getting to be too annoying after the newest AF upgrade additions.
Also, an ongoing update is to change all cRatio usage to average pDif values, as I haven't heard any negative feedback on the mnk experiment. The change in relative values will be small, but still something to take note of. The mnk spreadsheet can currently toggle between cRatio and pDif, but all other spreadsheets will be pDif-only once changed.
Drk spreadsheet isn't working for me when i select Liberator and then tick am3 the cells get replaced with #NAME.
All melee spreadsheets (not cor or rng) have been updated to use average pDif instead of cRatio. Also found a few errors along the way that have been fixed.
aionls: Please provide which version of the spreadsheet you're using, and what program you're using to view it. I'll look into it later tonight.
Hi it's the latest spreadsheet i had just downloaded them all today. Micorsoft excel 2010.
I should have asked which set as well, since it only affected one of them. Anyway, fixed and uploaded.
Only checked SAM's but according to the data from
http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/108...=1#post5979989
some of the gear has been given incorrect figures.
The Wakido feet have been given 5% Zanshin but it should be 3% (and looking at the "+3" on the +1s the upgraded ones are likely to also have 3%).
The Wakido hands have been given 2.5% JA haste but it should be 1% (and looking at the "+2" on the +1s the upgraded ones are likely to have 2%).
Fresh download of the WAR spreadsheet still has the error when you try to change around your weapon, weapon type, sub and sub-type.
It may be an Excel vs LibreOffice thing, but Data -> Validity on the six of those fields using INDIRECT all look like INDIRECT(#REF!4&"List") so using the dropdown menus is impossible. Typing in the correct values manually works and changing them to the appropriate redirect also works (INDIRECT(A3&"List") for set1's weapon, for example).
Also, the main gear page appears to accidentally be locked by default now...? I can't even select a cell on it unless I select Protect Document -> Sheet (which seems to do nothing other than let me edit it).
Thanks.
PLD spreadsheet
selecting shield as sub in PLD/NIN gives arg errors for dps calcs
Data-> H18 and H19 is the culprit (I guess there's no Shield entry in Other Lists->Skills)
Spreadsheet fixes:
Added all the new gear, plus fixed a bunch of the stats based on new info. If I missed any, let me know.
Adjusted Relic proc rate for OTD weapons to be 12%, based on parse data that excluded 13% from its confidence interval.
Fixed an issue with using Hasso on Run when dual-wielding.
Adjusted the extra haste from Hasso with Wakido hands.
On the LibreOffice indirect issue on the war spreadsheet, I've seen that before in Calc, though I thought I fixed it. It has something to do with how Calc interprets Excel spreadsheets, and I'm not sure there's anything I can do on my side about it. Are you using the .xls files?
All Gear pages are locked by default, aside from the blue cells, to prevent accidental tampering with the lookup formulas. It should never prevent you from merely selecting a cell, though, regardless of where it is in the page.
The shield issue on the pld spreadsheet should have been fixed. Not sure whether I fixed that since the last time I uploaded, or if you just don't have the latest version, though. Regardless, should be fixed now.
With LibreOffice 4.1.3.2 on Linux, I...
- Just downloaded another fresh WAR spreadsheet
- Opened it immediately (still .xlsx)
- Am unable to click in any cell on the gear tab or even navigate around with the arrow keys
- Selected "Tools -> Protect Document -> Sheet" and can now move around and edit cells
- Checked the indirect dropdowns and they are ###.
I'll try again using Libre for Windows in a little bit to be sure I'm not implying you should support Linux Libre on top of everything else. But the indirect problem in the WAR spreadsheet was mentioned several times in the FFXIAH WAR thread, so it seems to be common. Also, the DRK spreadsheet does not have this issue with the indirects, so whatever syntax you use there might solve the problem?
Edit: Same behavior on Windows LibreOffice, also 4.1.3.2.
Don't use the .xslx versions with LibreOffice/OpenOffice. They flat out don't work, as those suites aren't compatible with the format. Get the .xls versions; that's what they're there for.
I would like to request recommendations for a selection of target mobs for the spreadsheets to use.
General:
Trivial fodder -- Should be capping all stats even with low-grade gear
Basic fodder -- Just on the verge of capping attack with food and mid/high grade gear, but no buffs or debuffs (notably, not likely to be capped on offhand weapons)
Common farming mobs -- Not difficult, but will need some support before reaching caps
Basic NMs -- Mobs that represent some degree of difficulty to fight, needing coordinated support (eg: T1-5 Delve NMs)
High end NMs -- Mobs that represent alliance-level fights
Common targets:
Dynamis DC. May qualify for the Basic Fodder category.
Kamihr Drifts fodder mobs? Something strong enough to be a minor challenge. Easier to get data on then delve fodder mobs, and roughly the same difficulty.
Specialized targets:
Mobs that represent a particular difficulty, such as very high evasion, but aren't necessarily alliance-fought NMs
Probably a series for: Normal SKC mobs, Diff SKC mobs, VD SKC mobs; Normal AA NM, Diff AA NM, VD AA NM. For the AA NM, figure probably the hume?
And of the mobs selected, have stats determined as well as possible (vit and int should be exact; evasion and defense should be exact for non-NMs, and reasonably close for NMs; agi determined as best as can be figured)
Will likely remove the likes of Pil, Ig-alima, Hydra mobs, etc, though I probably want to keep a high level-correction mob in there. Let me know of any suggestions on what to keep or discard.
How would one best emulate Atonement in the dps sheet? Trying to do some comparisons of Maintaining AM3 with Burtgang vs other swords. But i'm not sure how to handle Atonement.
EDIT: Ended up making a dummy ws with really low mods and messing with gear till it hit about 1k. Not perfect, but I guess it works. Till I change buffs or target then get to do it all again. <,<;;
Also, any chance of seeing Excal add effect support? Even with manually set HP. Or just manually set Add effect dmg. Just need it to stack with enlight right.
Any plan to add yoichi/bow ws for sam ?
It's a fair bit of work to change that up, and I still haven't done the revamp for geo for most spreadsheets. I expect it'll be a while before I consider adding that.
