The Heat PA Guy Announced Amar’e Stoudemire Fouling Out As "He Has Been Extinguished From The Game"
hahhahahaha
Here's a hypothetical, since the Mavs are all in on DWill (Remember when they made the decision to let Chandler, et al. go there was CP3, Deron, and Dwight theoretically available this summer):
If they end up not being able to sign him, you ask Dirk if you can trade him, right?
It's in the best interest of both parties - there are no other impact players on the market in the next 2 years, so if they don't get Deron then Dirk's prime will be totally gone by the time they can get another superstar to take over the reins.
Dirk can't carry the team offensively alone any longer after doing it for over a decade, he said as much in this year's exit interview. He needs another guy that can get his own points. The Thunder showed him that - Westbrook, Durant, and Harden killed them on different nights when one or the other was having bad games.
Better to let Dirk go to a true contender and totally tear it down and rebuild than become like the Nash/Suns and be stuck with a high teens pick every year while barely making the playoffs or missing them.
That's pretty much the formula now. Being stuck in the middle like Phoenix, Houston, Hawks, etc is the worst scenario.
Trade Dirk to the Bobcats for the first pick and Kemba
Dirk has a no trade like Kobe, he isn't going to want to go there. I mean Dirk+Marion+Roddy is still a playoff team, if that's all he wants. Just not a contender without another elite offensive player or elite defensive center.
What if the Nets got the first pick in the lottery, or a top 3, and Deron decides to re-sign there. Dirk probably wouldn't be opposed to being traded there.
Don't you mean Dirk, marion, and roddy is a first round exit?
No way bobcats trade Anthony Davis for a fossil that's a shadow of what he once was.
Speaking of bright futures bulls are still sitting pretty with a lottery pick the bobcats owe them plus they have the best player in euro basketball who some have compared him to dirk with upside. In nikola mirotic.
Dude is wrecking it overseas.
His playoff numbers this year were the exact same as they have been for 10 years straight. No way bobcats trade Anthony Davis for a fossil that's a shadow of what he once was.
O.oDude is wrecking it overseas.
if a dirk trade ever happened it'd have to be to some middle of the pack playoff team with extraneous talent to give up.
houston, for example, would be possible destination. they can give up lowry, their current lotto pick/future picks, and some of their younger players like parsons/lee. this would make for a decent rebuilding package, assuming the pick was high enough, and houston could then go into the next year with dirk, martin, and a re-signed dragic as their "big three."
not that i think dallas would accept anything less than some really young star power but i don't think there are many viable options if dallas wanted to blow it all up this offseason. plus, if they were going to do that they would have started last year so they could suck enough for their own high lotto pick in what's going to be a ridiculous draft. i just don't see them wasting this year for nothing.

Oh and bird man of the nuggets getting computers seized for kiddie porn.
harden takes 6th man, big shocker
fu double post
Why would they have done it last offseason? They have a 50/50 shot at Deron Williams. From his own camp.
There's no reason to trade Dirk UNLESS they don't get DWill. They may not be contenders in 2012 but they would still have a bunch of cap space and flexbility to fill the team out in 2013 around DWill and Dirk as 2nd/3rd option going forward.
Nice find with that video dimmy, hilarious.
Kobe questionable for tonight with gastroenteritis. Bad news for the nuggets.
