In other news, David Stern was talking about how he would like to change how the USA team is configured for the Olympics and follow how soccer does it where they mainly send players 23 and under to the games to rest the top playing athletes for the World Championships. Also the league is seriously looking into flopping and a way to review and assess it when it occurs.

It was a good series, in the end we took it. They took it last year from us, no big. We deserved to lose the finals last year considering our poor performance.

The Refs gave it to them. Wade holds the record for FTAs in a 7 game series.

All I remember is Dirk's ridiculous driving layup to send Game 7 to OT. Mavs were up 3-1 in that series anyways and almost blew it.

2006 was a terrible year for the whole league - the Mavs were starting Adrian Griffin and DeSagana Diop, with Darrell Armstrong coming off the bench and managed to get to the Finals.
