Well but you can see the results I posted above are quite different.
In those tests I had almost no buff at all, on purpose of course.
Judging from the fact Thurandaut becomes better than Toci's on Fodder (where stuff like att, ddex etc are likely capped) I'd rather say than maybe Thurandaut > Toci's when you have a good amount of buffs, but if you don't it's the other way around.

I'm still trying to understand where the hell is the difference between PUP and MNK that generates opposite results on the head slot. Friend suggested me to mess around with ddex but so far I didn't really found the cause of this opposite result between MNK and PUP (either way it's a minimal difference, but it bugs me that I can't understand what causes it)

nvm I found out the reason and yeah, it's about ddex. I understood it now, it makes sense. Altough I'm still surprised how in certain conditions Thura is better than Thaumas (that in my setup receives an additional 3STR/DEX thanks to the bonus, furtherly reducing the distance from Thura)

Half thinking out loud here, half asking, but...

Current TP set is the generic out-of-abyssea AF3+2 + Black Belt setup... looking for decent upgrades, but currently don't have the bodies for Neo Salvage/Nyzul, and I basically gave up on Pil ever dropping a Toci's. Might do 1-2 Salvage pieces, but I can't see upgrading all 5 pieces (I do have 5/5 Usukane). Using Verethragna 90.

Thurandaut Body / Black Belt / Tantra Hose +2 would put me at 23% Haste - meaning I would have to come up with 3% from either feet (Thurandaut), Hands (Tantra+2) or Head (Ganesha).

Probably best to go with Ganesha/Melee+2/Tantra+2 for Impetus Down, then just stick with the typical full AF+3 with Impetus up (or possibly switch Tantra Gloves for Melee, and Tantra Gaiters for either NQ Usukane or Thurandaut)?

eps get DD axes. Dcs think evasion might be better of those 2. The difference between Dc and ep is crazy for your pet though

Mekira +1 has 30 attack on it so I'm not sure exactly how drachenhorn is providing 20 additional attack. Regardless of what you meant, no, you should never be using drachenhorn for Resolution.

Drachenhorn caps at +50 attack (at least according to FFXIAH), which is what I meant.

It doesn't get enhanced by attack buffs, so mekira still adds more.

Assuming the Attack +5% works like Phorcys, it gets enhanced by additive attack buffs, though not multiplicative ones.

I have almost 1000 attack before multiplicative boosts with 2 minuets (without a helm), which almost puts Drachenhorn at +50 attack, the cap, which is significantly more than the 30 of Mekira +1.

Legs might have a place in Trick Attack set if you're only running in to SA/TA, I imagine Thaumas legs still win if you're constantly engaged. Other than that (and body for Exen as mentioned) I can't see anything.

Oh and feet for pdt set I guess. But my oshit set on thf is eva based, using AF3+2 feet.

Considering that Reso is a 5hit, 3 DA is a 0.6% WSD increase. (Less considering other DA you may have.)

And for comparison purposes:
129 dmg Gsword, and theoretical 200 Str (Just tossed random Str since didn't care enough to look up a set.)
4 Str is a 1.03% increase
(and that doesn't even factor in the attack)

Depending on what daggers you're using and what mobs you're fighting, Thura head can be best TP head for THF. It's *very* dependent though. Also a good Blade: Jin piece but I don't know why you'd be using that since you're asking about Hi.
