What's Better?

So with the higher delay of Bloodbath compared to Ukon, is it worth the sacrifices to make it 5 hit, or would I be better off stacking in more acc/atk/etc? Best gearsets for Upheaval considering the new options that have opened up? Going to play around with spreadsheet later, but I'm at work for the next 6 hours so I was hoping for some good starting points in the mean time.

You can't be looking at much different STP values to an Apoc DRK 5 hit really. Apoc has higher delay but is using a single hit WS.

I made a bravura 5 hit some while ago just for shits and giggle, granded bravura has only a bit higher delay then ukon, i found a 5 hit worthless on it, too much DA/other stats sacrificed for it. on this GAX however it might be a viable option, because the delay is way higher. especially with new STP released, combination of STP/haste belt from meebles in battalia + new DA+2/STP neck from delve etc, might do the trick!

I've done some quick numbers, and it looks like 5 hit would probably break even at best on mid range targets, and lose on stronger mobs. The 504 delay gives a true 6 hit/sam with rajas+earring combo, while you have to shove in 31 stp for the 5 hit. It opens up a ton of flexibility in terms of stat/acc/atk/qtda slots for the 6 hit that the 5 hit gives up, which probably are more important now than they've been since 75.

Koga except on NMs which require the extra acc, pending the ease of maintaining aftermath.

Dusting off my COR soon. Lv90 Arma, or Surefire Arquebus? I have neither.

Also for RNG, still planning on making an Anni - am I insane? (Speculation about getting Coronach on any weapon notwithstanding)

Surefire will boost your QDs more, and they'll be your primary source of damage. If we get to the point where we have decent accuracy, it will also be the preferred weapon for Last Stand. Wildfire still has a place though since it's not related to weapon base damage, though it suffers against mobs with high int, fire affinity, or magic reduction. Maxing with delve Agi gear may help it in terms of accuracy and damage. So both really, depending on the target.

Annihilator still has a place right now for low enmity damage, though that will only continue to suffer more as they continue building higher tiers of SoA conent as pre - SoA weapon base dmg falls further behind. Think of it like other mmos: if Delve weapons are the quest reward tier and ah are level standard, the next Hagun/Ridill tier weapons may make RME look JSE weapons by comparison. Unless they allow transferring the ws, it's not going to provide any long term value.

Koga still wins a lot of the time. Pretty damn close though.

Wildfire is also pretty low enmity. Right now since guns are getting by far the lowest increase in base dmg rem weapons should still win with there aftermaths and ws and hidden effects if you shoot or care about enmity.

As far as wf goes dmg I've seen seems to be all over the place just like a lot of stuff so hard to say really. Obviously not going to use it on say wamoura since firebased but seems to still do decent. Plus all the cors I know keep bitching about how hard a time they have at not missing lol

Wildfire is still good on non-magic/fire resistant mobs. Last Stand has only usually been better than Wildfire on non-magic/fire resistant high level targets with lots of attack buffs. Wildfire also can't miss. Wildfire won't become redundant any time soon.

Never really looked at RR since the club selection for blue sucked. Guess the acc difference might pose a problem on higher content.

at a glance, the Mondaha Cudgel's upgrade path are m.acc, MAB, and MP. while the MND you get from those paths are helpful for realmrazer, it's not very beneficial for BLU's other physical spells. I would imagine Realmrazer needing to do quite a bit more damage than Requiescat to compensate for the fact that you don't get any good physical spell mods from the club.

From what I looked at on thf (haven't checked dnc), if you need accuracy, the new earrings win; if you're pushing the delay cap, the new earrings win by the tiniest of margins. If neither of those cases apply, Brutal/Suppa wins. Essentially, they're a situational sidegrade (as opposed to the DA/STP earrings, which are a strict upgrade for 2-handers/H2H) because of SE wanting to use the same numeric value for two different stats, that work differently for two entirely separate classes of jobs.

2% QA is basically equal to 6% DA (not exactly but they both work out at 6 extra swings per 100). So it depends on what you can do with the STP.

Should I swap Bale body with Pak and Karieyh feet with Mikinaak? Lose some attack/crit, gain a good chunk of acc, some STP (which I don't really need; I guess it will allow me to pole grip instead), and gain some extra DA.
